Hero Discussion: Puck

This post is a trainwreck haha but to contribute to the discussion, I like Unscathed's point. I never feel like you have enough impact as Puck as a mid, sure you can gank pretty well but I don't feel like he benefits from the farm as much. I like him offlane, seems to make more sense for what his initiating role is.

I don't think that's necessary, this thread can potentially be useful if someone wants to know more about Puck.

Some comments *COUGH Smuggels and Kody COUGH* could be deleted tho :P

The scalability issues with puck are the main concern i have for his viability in this patch. He just doesn't do as much as he used to in the prior Death-ball patch.

post 40 minute he grabs a Scythe of Vyse and it helps and yada yada yada, but it's not enough.Throw in an Aghs in there and then there is a certain amount of scalability going on, but it's still kinda redundant.

I would rather pick someone like Morph-sama or Storm spirit rather than put puck mid simply because of their better scaling and amazing (if not as godly as puck's) presence in the mid-game.

Also, Puck's skills are not meant for solo ganking, they are meant to be used in conjunction with other hero's skills, something which makes puck even more redundant as he needs other players to pick early-mid game heroes too.

I think Puck mid is pretty good tho. Letting him get that fast level 6 is good so that he can gank faster

Putting him offlane is also a good idea, but I think hes not as good as other offlaner, you know, Tidehunter, u name it.

My personal build is 2 Iron Branches for fast bottle. No need other ****

Then moving on to either Null Talisman or Boots of Speed then Blink Dagger. After that you can literally build whatever u want. dagon? Eul's Scepter of Divinity? Divine Rapier? Go ahead.

Anyway, hes a good mid, even though there are another better mid heroes.
