So ES has a bunch of great skills, and with blink dagger he's an amazing initiator. I was just thinking about exactly what order do I follow to get max damage. From what I understand, this might work out -
1 enchant totem, then wait until cd (which is pretty short anyway)
2 blink to the enemies
3 echo slam
4 enchant totem again
5 fissure

Am I doing anything wrong?

Well I'd need to do some number crunching.

I usually

>Enchant
>Fissure
>Blink
>Enchant
>Echo

and if the ability is CDed, I quickscope all those skrubs with fissure.

But I'm fairly certain your method deals more damage.

After you echo you could hit a guy with your previois enchant just to deal more damage.(since the animation for echo is instant)

i actually find people always mess up the fissure after echo.

its one of my pet peeves.

always use fissure to block off or stun anyone NOT caught in echo. dont throw it anywhere look at retreat routes and block them off or look for that one hero that u cant get in echo and stun him with fissure. all too often i see earthshakers just throwing out a fissure just to get the extra dmaage and stun off.

play smart.

I think Fissure last is the best bet, even if the damage is a little less just because (as Mr. Smuggles said) you can block of retreat path's with it.

I've always prefered the Enchant Totem into Blink Dagger into Echo Slam into Fissure then Enchant Totem again. That way if you get residual stuns and extra AOE damage really fast. But Smuggels also has a point. Don't just throw out fissure willy nilly, also use it to block possible escape routes.
