If any of you have seen my last posts, I am having trouble choosing heroes to learn. I want to start easy but I still want to play some higher impact heroes that can completely change a team fight with well executed moves. I was wondering if anyone could help me with suggestions. If possible, could you give a role for that hero and maybe even a hero for every role: Initiators, Carries, Supports, Gankers. The hero doesn't have to be necessarily easy. For example, I have heard that a good Earth Spirit can completely sh**, er I mean poop on pub games.
I can't directly answer your question as it is situational,
But really I would say the 2-3 heroes out of that list if played exceptionally well that can have an impact on pub games would be; Meepo, Earth Spirit and Invoker
Your new diet for heroes; You will need 4 wards (cuz wards taste better), 1 set of tangoes, 1 mango, 1 cheese.
With this you can make a nice Tango Mango Cheese platter. You can wash this all down with a nice bottle of water, Can be flavoured with red, green, yellow, blue, purple AND GOLD!
Caution: Taking roshan 3 times is required.
It would depend on the Hero's in the game (A well played Rubik with spell worth stealing can have game changing impacts. As can there ulti's themselves)
I mean, any Hero with powerful AOE ulti's or AOE disables can be game changing. A good Black Hole, or Chronosphere, or Ravage ect. So I'd say them as general rules.
It's just situational to each individual game tbh. Even if pubs.

This is pretty much the answer, especially in Pubs. You have to learn to identify what's needed in each match during the Picking Phase, but if it's a single Hero you want to learn, then I'd recommend...

Seriously though, this Hero is similar to Batrider, he has 2 skills that can move other Heroes around. As odd as it sounds, this makes him more broken than a Hero that does lots of damage or has lots of ratting power and he'll probably be nerfed quite heavily in the future, but still see plenty of play. If you want a Pub stomp Hero that can play in most positions, go for Earth Spirit.
In my opinion, it would be Sand King, from your list.
Meepo and Invoker need some levels and farm to have an impact; they come online typically during mid game, and continue their effectiveness late game.
Chen can be extremely useful early game, but falls off late game.
I'm not very familiar with Earth Spirit so I can't speak to it.
With Sand King, you can start being effective right from level 1, where a good Burrowstrike can setup a first blood. If you can grab an early Blink Dagger, a well placed Epicenter can have massive impact on mid game fights and end game fights.. Get yourself a Veil of Discord, and it gets even worse for the enemy, at least, until they get a Black King Bar, at which point, you are pretty ineffective in teamfights, unless you can initiate before the enemy can activate their BKB.
Overall, however, Batrider has a lot more impact on the game, right from the time he hits level 6, all the way to the end.
I mean Rubick potentially, can use your own ultis to swing the game.
Step 1: Pick Bristleback
Step 2: type in all chat:"GL hf"
Step 3: solo offlane
Step 4: first blood triple kill solo vs trilane
Step 5: continue head butting keyboard
Step 6: don't care, Bristleback doesn't give a ****
Step 7: screenshot repeated: BB OP comments in all chat
Step 8: alternate games with Slark pick
