We didn't lose. I snuck up top and took out the Ancient while Spectre took ours down to 200 health. Like I said, it was a close game.

As for the Meks, we bought them literally at the same time. We were both at base and I bought it and I see the thing in the bottom right that shows he bought it too. It worked out OK, though, because he did more of a solo thing and I went with the team, and when his was on cooldown, i could use mine.

I just went full ******, thinking you lost even though you won the game. My points still stand though, and you guys should have had better communication with the Undying to avoid buying 2 meks haha :D.

Here are the points I noticed about your build..

1. Against a Sand King, Gyrocopter, Lion and Razor why did you not build a Black King Bar?!!?!

2. Your skill build is not my favorite. I would have gone with 1 level in Poison Attack for harassment and chasing, and maxed out Nethertoxin and Corrosive Skin since the passives are what makes Viper such an awesome tank/teamfighter.

3. Your XPM and GPM seem way too low.. I assume you were against a Razor in mid. If you picked Viper after your enemy picked Razor, it was a bad pick, since Razor is one of the few heroes that counters a Viper in lane. However, if your enemy picked Razor after you picked Viper, you can still try to win your lane by going boots first. Instead of going for a starting Wraith Band, go for Tango and Boots of Speed. The Boots of Speed would help you break the Static Link more easily if the Razor doesn't go boots first item. Once you break the Static Link, harass him down. As for build order, I generally prefer rushing the Mekansm after brown boots, and going for Power Treads after I complete the Mekansm.

As for your item build, it was OK except for the lack of a Black King Bar. Also, there is no reason to go for an Orchid Malevolence on a Viper. Instead, a Heart of Tarrasque would have been a much better option, or even a Pipe of Insight since the enemy team was high on AOE magic damage.

P.S: I saw from your replies that you were laning against a Sand King.. If this was the case, the enemy was stupid not to put Razor against you in mid. Next, harassing a Sand King is child's play for Viper.. He shouldn't even get a last hit against you in lane.. Since he is melee, harass the hell out of him whenever he comes close. He would have to Sandstorm to get last hits. At that point, you need a lane sentry, so you can outright kill him.. You didn't need the extra Poison Attack points.. Just one point into it, and orb walk him to death..

Thanks for this. Heart of Tarrasque seems to be a favorite choice then. Noted.
