The thing is a visitor from another world, another dimension where the properties of matter and space are reversed. where objects and physics work differently. Nobody knows anything about him except that he arrived on a flaming comet that burned with energy so hot that it flew straight into the planets core, from there the mudlike being known as the Thing emerged to fufill its strange purpose.

The Thing
strength hero
nuker-durable-escape-initiator-disabler-semi carry? MELEE and his base attack time is ****, somthing like 1.67 to nerf him. intel gain is bad too

Q active Mud Horizon
the thing shift his matter and spirals inward, pulling in heroes and damaging for pure damage, afterwards the heroes will be slowed for 3 seconds. heroes will be disabled whilst being pulled in and the pulling in time in 1 second and the thing is vunerable during that period

level 1- 70 pure damage and 10% slow-radius 300
level 2- 140 pure damage and 30% slow-radius 500
level 3- 240 pure damage and 40% slow-radius 700
level 4- 340 pure damage and 60% slow-radius 1000
cooldown 21sc manacost 110

W active target point Erupt
The thing mudlike form is not of earthlike dimensions, allowing him to be unstoppable in pursuit of his objectives. the thing shifts his matter again and concentrates his matter at a target point, after a 0.75 delay he will emerge from that point and cause AOE damage and stuns. The longer you charge this up the more dmg and stun he does and the wider the radius

level 1- max 2 second charge up
level 2- maxe 3 second charge up
level 3- maxe 4 second charge up
level 4- max 6 second charge up
cooldown 20sc mana cost 90/120/150/170
50 dmg and 0.5 sstun with each second.

E Passive autocast Searing Mud
the thing charges his attacks with inter-dimensional energy that sears away at an opponenets atomic structure, dealing bonus pure damage and ministuns. there is also a small chance that he will instantly do a percentage of the opponents health as damage and gain it as movespeed for 3 seconds
level 1- 20 bonus damage and 1% of enemy health
=3% chance
level 2- 40 bonus damage and 4% of enemy health=4% chance
level 3- 50 bonus damage and 5% of enemy health
=5% chance
level 4- 60 bonus damage and 6% of enemy health
=6% chance
cooldown=autocast=5/4/3/1 manacost= 50

R ultimate = Dimension Rip
The thing calls apon its energy to forcfully tear a hole between the dimensions, this causes a single line of dimensional rip to appear which caustic 'mud' will pour out of inflicting major slows and DoT. if an enemy is killed by this ability the Thing immediatly steals their form for a short period retaining their items and abilitys. this effect can stack in that more than one enemy is killed he will turn into the last one to die. when the enemy respawns or comes into a short aoe of the thing they will realise his deception and the thing will go back to his normal form if the hero who discovered him was the hero who had died


level 1- 900 units and mud travels to an aoe of 500-dot is 50 for 10 seconds and slow is 30% for 10 seconds
level 2- 1300 unit line,aoe 800 dot 70 slow 50%
level 3- 1500 unit line,aoe 1000, dot 100, slow 60%

thanks but i am seriously creeped out, the only Thing i know is the fantastic 4 one. i honestly thinnk his ulti is a bit iffy, might replace it later.

His Q looks a little op. The radius on it is huuuuge. Make radius smaller and maybe shorten the time for the slow. At max lvl a 2 second 40% slow is good enough. 3 second 80% too op. And if you are going to make the radius large, make the cd longer too, 11 is too short.

You should also add damage values to his W skill. And I also think that the range on it should increase the more you channel it. So if you want to go to some place 1000 units away, channel time should be 2 seconds? And max range would be something like 3000 units away with 6 second channel.

Passive seems op, even with such a high mana cost. Maybe it should be a spell that grants a limited number of attacks with bonus damage and x% of their hp pool damage. Then add a long or at least decent cd.

Finally, ult seems a bit iffy. I think it looks quite confusing but, I like the idea of stealing a hero's abilities and items. Maybe it could be a single target spell something like nightmare that makes the unit unable to do anything and gives you the abilities. After a certain amount of time, the unit wakes and you turn back into yourself.

Besides that, I like the idea of this hero. Some spells just seem to be a little op or doesn't work that well.

i need to edit this so thanks. i know his ultimate is iffy, its supposed to work like dark seers wall except it spills mud stuff everywhere, the stealing thing is like rubicks ulti. no cosmetic changes but you steal all items and spells and appear to be an ally to the enemy until the guy you're disguised as respawns. im going to rework his passive and his W is supposed to sortof be like illuminate mixed with teleport. stun time increases and dmg increases the longer u channel it ect. i think il remake his q to be a bit like electric vortex with afterwards slow if that makes sense, it may seem op but remember that this guy had the dps power of lvl 1 alchemist.
