This one goes up to 11

Earlier this week we revealed how the Aegis of Champions was crafted. This time around we'll show you how the score for the Dota 2 trailer was recorded.

Instead of going over what consonance and dissonance are or why a Conductor uses such a tiny stick to direct an entire orchestra, we decided it would be easier to explain via this video:

Speaking of music, did you know that in music that progresses regularly in 4/4 time, the first beat of the bar is usually the best place for a chord change?

It's funny because a lot of people thought that 6 heroes were gonna come out, bringing it down to 11 heroes left.

Well, it's a reference to the fact that most amps have a max volume of 10. It's kind of an old-school joke but people used to would say something like "let's crank this **** up to 11", basically breaking the maximum volume.
