Hey there! It would be nice if I could see your code for this guide so I can use it myself (if you don't mind, of course). Anyways, please share it to me by e-mail: [email protected]

P.S. Congrats for winning the guide contest! You really deserved it with how much detail and effort you put into making this guide :D

Congratulations on your win! You really deserved it! Since I will be making a couple of guides in the upcoming days, I'm curious on how you arranged some stuff in your guide, especially the ones with columns as I had a lot of trouble with it in my previous guide. Can I please have a look at your code. Thanks in advance: [email protected]

Does anyone keep Power Treads? If not, when do you switch over to Boots of Travel?

Just saying, never ever buy a vlads for your self as it doesn't benefit your illusions, at all.

I already have mentioned that in my guide, haven't I? It's mentioned in the explanation for Satanic. Because when I made this guide a lot of people had problems with buying Helm of the Dominator instead of Vladmir's Offering because it was like a tradition, you know. But now people have finally accepted Satanic as the better choice for Phantom Lancer. I thank God for this acceptance by the community.

I have one small tip: Put your tanky(takes normal damage) illusion from Doppelganger in a control group. With default keys, that means doing the skill in a game, selecting the darker gold illusion (most people don't really pay attention, but the light one is the weak illusion with damage while the dark one is the tanky illusion without damage) and pressing ctrl+1(or 2 or 3 or whatever)

It makes mind games that much easier, because you can usually mess with people a lot by switching out yourself for that tanky illusion. Literally, just doppelganger when you get ganked and run the tanky one off while you continue autoattacking. Unless you are in a higher bracket where someone will notice that one of the "illusions" is hitting for your actual damage, most people will be fooled.

I've actually been doing that myself since the last few days. I'm perfecting the skill and then I'll add a whole in-depth chapter on that topic. Thanks for the feedback. Really appreciate it.

I think helm of dominator instead of vlads is a bad choice. I say this because it gives away your real hero with the lifesteal (green light thing on your hero's head). With vlads you ll still keep the enemy confused as to which is the real Phantom Lancer. However I agree with the author that hotd is a far better choice than vlads on any other carry coz it can be build into satanic.

The green glow from Helm of the Dominator is really subtle and almost invisible. As far as I know, it doesn't even exist. I really haven't ever noticed it. And when ten Phantom Lamcers are attacking you simultaneously, I doubt anyone would be able to find the real one just by the green glow. Considering that, Helm of the Dominator is the best lifesteal for Phantom Lancer. Vladmir's Offering should only be bought in some exceptional cases which I will add soon.

Yasha is a really cost efficient farming enabler, which Diffusial isn't. An early Yasha means your other items become faster relative to what they would've been.

It's kinda dependant on whether you are doing a lot of early fighting or not. If there is a lot, then rushing the Diffusual is probably better, but if things are slightly more passive, I'd definately go for Yasha

Exactly. I avoid early game fights, and rush my Yasha and Diffusal Blade. When both of these are done, that's when the fun starts.

Don't you think Diffusal Blade is better than Yasha in terms of early items? Diffusal Blade provides more agility, and thus damage, and intelligent, while Yasha provides lower agility, and increased atk + move speed. I don't think you need that atk and move speed in early games. Move speed problem is solved by Phantom Rush in case for war, and attack speed isn't the most important factor in early games. I think Diffusal Blade is by far the most important think to have in early games, not Yasha. But it doesn't mean you have to follow me. Feel free to use your own better items XD

It's more or less a matter of preference. I feel the attack speed and movement speed is important before getting the Diffusal Blade, but that's my choice. I won't say it's wrong to get the Yasha after the Diffusal Blade.
