Why does no-one get Daedalus on Razor? In my opinion it is an extremely powerful item on Razor. Example:

You got ~150 base dmg.
You steal ~250 from the enemy carry.
Now you deal ~400 dmg.
Then, you crit.
You deal (I forgot the exact number of the crit) 225% more dmg, meaning that you deal 900 dmg.

So why does no-one build him like this? Most people build him extremely tanky and relies on stealing dmg to be able to output dmg.

Hero DPS and EHP Spreadsheet coming soon.

Because his skillset synergies more around staying alive than dealing physical burst.

It's not just Static Link, but Eye of the Storm as well. He wants to stay alive for a long time in a fight and just gradually scale up in damage. The best way to do that usually isn't to buy damage but to buy tanky/sieging items.

Especially if you think of him as an anti carry - He doesn't need to buy damage items to out damage an enemy core, because he steals the damage from a core himself. And since he isn't lacking in damage as a result, attack speed is a little better to buy than damage (Plus the two major attack speed items, AC and Butterfly synergise pretty well with what he wants to do)

Since you just can't have enough Chaos Breaker.

Static Link tends to fall off late game - it doesn't scale, and there are lots of ways to break or block the link, and it takes time to build up the damage steal. If it breaks, it's on a 25 second CD so you can't use it again in the majority of fights.

It also requires Razor to be alive, same as Eye of the Storm - so tanking up is the order of the day. He's really more of an anti-carry/tank, a semi-carry at best.

Generally you build him to have impact midgame (hence the old Mekansm builds) which means less expensive items, eventually going into a big item or two.
