Let's also remember that you can Lotus Orb, False Promise, etc to purge the stun from RP. Can't do that to the Big Black Theory.
There are two kinds of people in the world; those who can count, and those who can't.

RP is a better, yes, but I guess Enigma makes up for it with the rest of his/her/its kit.

Speaking of which, there's an error in the Black Whole description... lemme go fix it.

The Puppey strat. I think it was him anyway. Something along the lines of not using a Black Hole is actually more powerful than using a Black Hole because the enemy team is constantly under the fear that you have it up and ready to go.

On a related note, I find it mildly interesting that, more recently, heroes like Enigma and Tidehunter are skipping the blink dagger, instead going for utility items like mek and force staff before getting a blink. While I agree that mek is a great tool for pushing, shouldn't a Blink Dagger be the first core item these initiators get? I've seen Puppey even go arcane mek bloodstone on Enigma before he buys (sometimes even not buying) a blink, which triggers me really hard. Is it reasonable to expect an enemy team to stand idle while they watch an Enigma waltz into the middle of their team and get a black hole off?

I assume these players depend on the chaos of the teamfight to get into the middle and get their initiation off, but it seems unreliable to me compared to a blink. Same with the BoTs drums batrider some pros have been trying out. Blink is the unparalleled item for initiation and it's incredible that initiators skip it.

I was going for the Whole Black Hole Description, but apparently my brain got tangled.

In my experience as Enigma, you don't need a Blink Dagger at all. Most Enigmas try to end the game as early as possible to be honest. You build a mek and auras and you push with your team. Than when someone comes to contest the push, you use Black Hole.

Blink Dagger is a really nice item but in a team composition it is less needed.
