Hello guys, I am a noob and i want to ask this question. What differs much from TA and PA?

Both of them summed up:
-Physical burst
-Gap closer
-Mid game
-Strong against magical/physical accorfingly

Mid game gap closer physical burster. I understand that PA scales better late game, but what should i note when I want to pick TA and when i want to pick PA?

TA can contest mid. PA just gets rekt by most mids in early levels. TA also doesn't come packed with blink, but she's better at ganking thanks to ult. TA can easily rosh at level 8, PA can't.
TA can farm ancient stacks, PA can't early.

Ypu pick PA when you want a carry. You pick TA when you want a ganker.

Phantom Assassin scales well into the late game, whilst Templar Assassin seems to reach a point where they drop off completely. You need a 4-5k gold lead on TA it feels like, just to come out ahead.

Templar Assassin feels like a lane dominator against many match-ups, whereas Phantom Assassin has to work for her farm in a lot of cases by spamming Stifling Dagger.

Templar Assassin is a hero that counters nukers and burst damage heroes in general, like Kunkka, Shadow Fiend, Zeus etc. She's an AGI ganker/carry who can take fights into the mid-game easily even before having a BKB because she has a shield that protects her from nukes.

Phantom Assassin on the other hand is a carry who counters physical right-clickers, especially ranged right-clickers who are very weak to gap closing, heroes like Drow Ranger or Viper are her best food. She's on the other hand very weak to nukers and stuns, even after she gets her BKB...since as everyone knows BKBs aren't eternal and can be kited.

One counters magical damage, the other counters physical damage. Other than that both do essentially do the same thing, get in people's faces, slow them, and burst them with heavy physical damage.

Also...don't underestimate Templar Assassin's late game. She's almost completely unkiteable with Psionic Trap, she can literally permaslow people for 50% with good timing (the slow duration is the same as the cooldown!), catch up to people who try to run away with forcestaffs, etc. Good TA players will even abuse the cleave from Psi Blades in teamfights to deal double or even triple damage. She's definitely not a hard carry but she doesn't drop off either. At equal levels of farm, I'd have a TA over a Shadow Fiend or Sniper anyday because of the better damage steroids and unkiteability...but that's just personal preference I guess.

Before 6.84, PA was a mediocre late-game carry at best. Now that her evasion is only disable by MKB and Break (that is tied only to Silver Edge and Aghs Demonic Purge/ Doom), PA got a way better scaling.
