i dont remember who said this i think it was either a pro player or a caster but its scarily accurate

"DotA games are not won by skill. They are not won by the better players. They are not won by kills or gold advantage.

DotA games are won by one team who do the RIGHT thing at the RIGHT time."

this is so accurate cant even begin to describe how.

u might be haead by 10 k gold but you farm instead of finishing. you might be ahead in kills by 30 or u might have all 6 outwards towers down for none of yours and u rosh instead of taking rax after a fight. or you might try and fight into a combo wombo line up even though u know they have ulties up.

learn to do the right thing at the right time.... win games.

problem is ... getting the rest of your team to do it as well.

I WILL DESTROY YOU ALL.... WITH FLUFFY BUNNIES

First off your teammates are probably in the same position as you...they don't trust someone else to carry.

Also what is your MMR? That will give people a better idea on how to give advice.

As mentioned before don't try to climb MMR try to get better. If you get better and have a larger pool of heroes you can play well you will naturally go up in MMR. If you have the mindset that your teammates are losing the game for you then you are at the MMR you are supposed to be. The only time your teammates lose games for you is when they intentionally feed.

The one bit of advice I will give that helped me climb MMR (aside from just plain getting better) is to play mid or offlane, not carry. Playing carry means you need to have space to farm and you don't come online till later in the game. On top of that it is typically expected that your support(s) aid in your farming. Mid and solo offlane are entirely on you. If you lose the lane that was your fault for playing ****ty or making a poor pick. From mid you have the ability to snowball and gank which in turn creates space for your teammates. A good offlane hero will greatly hinder the farm potential of the enemy carry while farming decently for himself.
