This is mainly addressed to English native speakeres. I have a question regarding language.

I've noticed, that during BTS casts, commentators like Zyori, LD and KotlGuy are using VERY OFTEN word: "your". Let me give you few examples:

SERIOUSLY, WHAT IS GOING ON? It is not my Bounty Rune, or my hero. I do not owe them, casters as well. Why is this my (the viewer) item? I can't find anything language related to this in Polish. I can't think of a good explanation. Is this just a filler? Word without a meaning, like: "umm"?

Please, you have to tell me, or I will be mad. I really find myself annoyed when watching those casts. If I will learn about it, I will understand and I will be able to cope with this. Also, they sound like they are talking to children - such a silly thing. Vocal manner (especially KotlGuy) during casts is almost unbearable.
By that, I mean that their voices are high-pitched at the end of each sentence.

That feel when you know what the word means in this context by intuition but you can't even explain it. Feels really bad.

I'm sorry, Krwiozerca.

It's an english thing, it's mainly something that carried over from sports commentators, like in baseball, the play-by-play commentator will start by saying "John Doe will be your starting pitcher today for the New York Yankees" and "Your New England Patriots are Super Bowl XLIX Champions." So in the best terms that I can put, the casters are using "your" to refer to fans of the team that they're talking about. So, if you're a Na'Vi fan, the caster would say "Dendi is going to be on your Pudge" or "so and so will be soloing your offlane for you" and so on. I hope this somewhat clears things up for you.

Yeah, thanks, it clears up.

I had a feeling it's something about this - a way of private message towards the fans, but still it sounds silly to me. The main thing that bothers me, is how often is this used.
