Just voicing my opinion here. Personally I think it is situational on whether you max out nightmare first over enfeeble. If you are opposing a carry, maxing out enfeeble is a great way to stop the opponent carry from farming. Also I just think that 4 seconds early game would be plenty to help survive/kill and that even getting stats for survivability would be a better way to go.

To preface, I made this guide quickly to give a friend of mine who's new to the DotA genre an idea of how to build Bane in a simple manner. Originally I planned on leaving Nightmare at level two until 24/25 but the one key aspect of Nightmare that I was not considering was the difference between range in levels (100 range can make a world of difference). If I do continue this guide into a full-fledged premium guide I would include a second build to account for the enemy having a carry that you're intent on shutting down, but for brevity and simplicity sake I chose to leave it as one streamlined build that prioritized maxing Nightmare over Enfeeble.
