Venomancer: Poison Sting + Orb of Venom

Sorry if I double posted, my browser has been acting up. I was just curious if anyone knows whether Poison Sting and Orb of Venom stack. If they do, would the item be viable for Venomancer? Thanks in advance.

in answer to your question, yes it stacks, and is a great item for veno..poison sting is not an orb effect.
If i'm playing a support, and I'm babysitting rather than roaming, I always get an orb of venom.. great item for lane control.
