Spectre item builds.

i actually wanna try mjollnir spectre, that active on her must be sick.

One thing I dislike is when people say you HAVE to go with a certain, very specific item build on a hero. Yeah, sure, Radiance is great on Spectre, I won't deny that. But there is always another way to build a hero, and Spectre is a great example of this (another good example was how people started building MoM on Jugg instead of Aghs). Vanguard -> Diffusal Blade is fantastic on this hero and I have had great success with it (more than with a Radiance, ironically enough). Desolate does an absurd amount of damage early in the game, and if you add in an Orb of Venom you have three attack modifiers that wreck most heroes (Poison from the Orb, Desolate, and Mana Burn from Diffusal). Add in the beef you get from Vanguard and it's hard for you to be taken down. You can still farm really well due to the Agi & mana burn from diffusal, though admittedly the Radiance burn is a better farming tool.

Long story short, you need to adapt your build to the game you find yourself in. Grindy farming games -> Radiance, early fighting -> Not Radiance.

As I mentioned, if your team have little early game presence then you shouldn't ever be playing Spectre unless you want to go mid and get Mask of Madness. I mean, try, TRY, if you feel that you can't get it in time then just forget it. I never disagreed with other build, I simply uses other build as a recovery plan or an aw-man-I-realised-I-have-little-chance-to-get-a- Radiance-in-time build. Spectre can adapt to a lot of kind of build, like rush Diffusal Blade or Manta Style, go early power with Drum of Endurance, Orb of Venom and Urn of Shadows, Maelstrom core, tank the hell out build, or 2 troll builds : dagon- Ethereal Blade for "I Haunt, I Reality, I killed. Or 1 Radiance+ 5 Ethereal Blade for awesome press-to-rampage button.

Thanks for your tips. I have almost forgotten the Maelstrom are also good on her for farming. Personally I have tried this build before and I can fight much more early on. But when I realised that my illusions are not powerful anymore then I put the Radiance on top priority. If you can't get Radiance in time, then just use all the golds you have and get a Maelstrom.

I have tried the tank build, but it is not powerful as other build because one Black King Bar will counter them all.

Edit:I'm merely sharing my own experiences, after all the OP are looking for a build to focus for right? Simply telling him there is a lot of build and everything is situational dude are not helping. If he wants me to elaborate more then I'm glad to do so. But generally only pick Spectre when your team can 4v5 and try to farm Radiance in time, otherwise play her in other game because she is a situational pick.
