DotA2 Skill: Battle Hunger

Battle Hunger

Casting Method:Active

Allowed Targets:Enemy Units
Enrages an enemy unit, causing it to take damage over time until it kills another unit or the duration ends. The damage is increased by a factor of Axe's armor. The enemy is also slowed as long as they are facing away from Axe.

Duration: 12
Movement Slow: -11% / -19% / -27% / -35%
Damage Per Second: 10 / 15 / 20 / 25
Armor Multiplier: 1

Multiple instances of Battle Hunger can stack on a single target.
Mana Cost: 50 / 60 / 70 / 80 Cooldown Time: 20 / 15 / 10 / 5
Additional Information
Ordinary heroes cannot withstand Mogul Khan's rage for battle, such that it injures them until it is satisfied.

  • Grants movement speed for every affected enemy. This effect stacks.
  • Casting Battle Hunger multiple times on the same target does not stack, but refreshes the duration instead.
  • Denying an ally or destroying buildings or wards also removes the debuff.
  • Using Devour, Demonic Conversion, or Hand of Midas also removes the debuff.
  • Killing illusions does not remove the debuff.
  • The affected unit itself has to make the kill to remove the debuff. Summons or illusions owned by the same player do not remove it when they make a kill.
  • Deals damage based on the level upon cast of the ability. Leveling up Battle Hunger does not update the damage of already placed debuffs.
  • Deals damage in 1 second intervals, starting 1 second after the debuff is placed, resulting in 12 instances.
  • Can deal up to 192 / 288 / 384 / 480 ( 1632 / 1728 / 1824 / 1920) damage (before reductions) when lasting its full duration.
  • When upgraded, directly reduces any damage the debuffed target deals. This includes damage from spells.

Provides 30% damage output reduction.


Spell Immunity:
  • Does not pierce spell immunity.
Spell Block:
  • Blocked when primary target.
  • Not blocked when applied by Culling Blade.
  • The debuff is dispellable with any dispel.
  • The movement speed bonus is undispellable.

Afflicts a target with a terrible killing hunger. The target will take damage per second and is slowed until it kills a unit.
