Introduction to hero: Slardar

Slardar the Slithereen Guard is a melee strength hero, with high mobility, strong physical strength and low cooldown skills. Slardar specializes in bashing his enemies with brute force and although his skills are simple, they're capable of causing heavy trouble and danger to his enemies. Slardar can take on any role, be it tank, ganker, initiator, carry or support due to his flexibility. His ultimate, although simple and cheap, can be one of the most dangerous single target spells, as it greatly reduces enemies physical armor and reveals their presence.

Explanations about the items:

Leaving the base:
As you can see, the initial items from the carry build don't have any type of regeneration. This is because Slardar has a natural tankyness, starting the game with 5.38 armor and 549 HP, which is greatly increased with the gauntlets and branches.
Of course, this is because you will be playing as a carry, which means that you probably will have a ranged hero, probably a support, as a partner in the lane.
In case you don't have one, buy a Tango instead of another gauntlet.

Blink Dagger:
In the default and tank build, Blink Dagger are in the Situational tab.
This is because, at the true, isn't always that you need it to initiate.
In most times, you can just sprint to the closer hero and stun him, then the others comes to save him, and it starts.
Of course, if you is being disabled in the process and/or the enemy team is organized and don't leaves anyone behind, you must buy a Dagger to make a decent initiation.
And, above all, this for the tank / default build.
You shouldn't buy Dagger when playing as a carry, because, in most cases, initiator die, and a carry shouldn't die.

PMS and Ring of Regen:
You only get this itens if you are suffering heavy harass in the lane, or if you are farming very well in the early game.

Bottle:
Buy it if you're soloing mid. Yes, you can solo, not as well as other mid heroes, like QoP or Invoker, but you can solo pretty well, for a melee hero.
