This is a breif guide on Mortred as of 7.02. This build isnt anything wildly different to how PA was being played before in patch 6.88. The primary difference is the introduction of the level 15 talent (10% lifesteal). This makes buying lifesteal items on PA inneffecient, as the alternative skill (20 ms) is trash, and the lifesteal won't take a slot.
With this in mind what you need as a 7.xx PA is a little HP regen untill you hit 15, as well as tankyness and damage.
Now bare with me and consider Armlet of Mordiggian.
2370 gold! THATS CHEAP! 7 HP regen, 5 armor, 25 attack speed, 9 damage.
Active is +31 damage! +25 strength (500 hp) and 4 extra armor.
The loss of 45 hp per second is considerable, however the raw hp gain makes up for this and reduces the potential to be burst by nukes conserably.
By the time that the 45 hp drain becomes a strain on your hp (with longer fights) you will be level 15 and then you can easily lifesteal back the damage.
Desolator has always been great on PA and it gives her an incredible power spike when combined with armlet and 10% life steal.
BKB is generally good for disables, and Abysal is good for manfighting other carries.
The other items are situational and should be considered for dealing with certain contingecies (eg. Diff blade for Omni).
In this patch the games are fast paced and bloody, so it is quite a good one for the fighting PA. PA is also great against low armor heroes, and when paired with negative armor (eg slardar) so keep this in mind when picking.
