Skill progression = good
Not wasting tons of $$$ on blood stone for stats you dont need = good
dragon = good

all the rest you can pretty much scrap, especially if you are playing off lane carry role. in fifteen minutes you can purchase courier, tangoes, tranquil boots, oblivion orb, null, and three sets of wards plus some additional tangos if you are having a reallllllly though time in lane. This will also put you at level 8 and with 3/4th of your mana pool full you can death pulse, auto attack 2x, ult, deathpulse (before ult hits) and kill anyone with max hp of 750 even if they started at full life in 5 seconds (thee cd of death pulse)

from there it is easy to farm up a dagon, then a hp booster, then dagon2, then heart, then dagon3/4, skadi, dagon5, aghs scepter
swap out boots for BoT for the easy split push/rat dota monies at some point during this progression.

does your team suck? then get a dagon, radiance, Bot, Heart, orchid, Skadi, upgrade dagon -->5,

Knit picking here :

You should add a skill build with earlier sadist. It really keep him going early game before he can get mana and hp items.

More detail into his skills would be appreciated

Motion for Bloodstone is seconded. It's an amazing situational/luxury.

But I dunno about maxing sadist second. I'd alternate between heartstopper and sadist. Unless it's one of those games where you're getting kills left an right. The sheer number of creeps you can easily kill with it helps sadist tremendously.

No Bloodstone o.o
I like your guide but the fact that there is no bloodstone is strange to me. This is only my personal preference though. I just love bloodstone on Necro. At least add it to situational if you want.

Quite a solid guide to Necrophos. I would say that the best way to improve it would simply be to add to it. Maybe, a Friends/Foes/Food section, for example.

Unlike most every other guide that I see, I can't really find anything that's wrong with it.
