I like your style. I'm more prone to go power treads on ES, but I guess phase can be nice for rune control and CS.

I play it whenever I want. As soon as pick start just tell them you're going mid with ES. They're pubs, you gotta carry them anyway. I wouldn't ES against QoP or PotM. I play es mid in both competitive and matchmaking, with and without friends it doesn't matter.

I haven't tried this out yet, because I get told by my team that ES doesn't mid. How often do you get to play mid as ES when you play in matchmaking or do you only play with friends? Might give this a shot against the bots to test it out.
