Quoted:

Added a tradtional item start and kept my personal build intact. Left room in the traditional for additional items as you see fit with the basis put in.

But i meant the +armor ring, 3 gg branches, whatever, then getting the sobi mask in the lane :< oh well, ;D

The lack of Medallion of Courage here disturbs me. At least add it as situational as Stoli stated.

good guide, but im not sure about the basilius start. id rather just get the ring of armor then some stats and wards, finishing basilius in lane. +1 I agree with Stoli about Agha's, it's a very good item to save up for after your Urn and Wand etc. I also like to get a Medallion if someone else is getting basilius/urn, cause Dazzle completely focuses around phys damage and armor. He pairs extremely well with -armor carries like Slardar or Lycan (a common stygian holder, no?), although Lycan does jungle early game. you get the point :p

Very good guide.

Basilius is more situational, imo. A good item choice, though 500g for no hp can get you first blooded if you are unlucky, and means you can't buy chicken, but you might want to start with 3x gg branches and 1x ring of protection if you build it (buy the "sage's mask"/sobi mask at the side shop). Also, check that none of your carries make it, as it's very common on some, such as weaver, necrolyte, etc.

I do think Aghanims needs a bit more focus- it's not quite core, but damn near. It's easier to farm than hex, gives a great deal of hp (greatly justifies a manaboots instead of treads) and involves a point booster, a fantastic item. Not to mention, the bonuses are very good, especially the increased size.

There is also a great deal of personal bias here, but I would add medallion as situational. It isn't very good, but the damage on poison touch is physical, therefore benefiting from it, plus any bonus to auto damage for you and your allies is, on the other hand, VERY helpful. The armor and mana regen are good as well.

I think urn is a bit overrated on Dazzle, since he has trouble getting kills, but it's recommended and it's good on any support, so nothing wrong with having it in core.

The focus on warding is also nice to see. If your team needs to push (although dazzle teams don't usually) it's also good to consider an "offensive ward" on one of the hills in the enemy jungle.
