DotA2 Hero: Bristleback

Bristle Back | Octarine Tank

Introduction

Hi

I'm DucksAreMagical, I've been playing Dota 2 for about 1 1/2 years, My favourite heroes are strength heroes that are meant to tank for there team, and agility heroes that deal alot of damage to single targets.

I've played alot of Bristle Back, Centaur Warrunner and Axe, I do prefer Centaur over them all though, just because he has a better late game presence than the rest.

Bristle Back

Bristle Back has one of the greatest early game killing potentials, just because of his Quill Spray and Viscous Nasal Goo, but also he can turn a run away from 3 heroes to a chase on 3 heroes, Bristleback is the best early - mid game reduction ability because it not only reduces ALL damage from behind this includes pure damage.

This makes a Lina ult maxed with ags deal 570 damage, which gives 2 stacks of Quill Spray and reduces a killing blow to little more than a scratch (for a ultimate).

Pros / Cons

Pros

    Tanky
    High Mana
    Cheap Spells
    Great Synergy with his abilities

Cons

    Item dependant
    Early game mana problems
falls off late game if not fed

Skills

Viscous Nasal Goo - Slow + Armour Reduction can stack up to 56% Slow and - 8.8 armour.

Quill Spray - Base Damage + Stack Damage - Stacks up to 400 damage

Bristleback - 40% Damage Reduction from behind and 20% from the side, shoots out a Quill Spray when you take 250 damage from behind.
