Wow such a great guide! This helped me a lot and I do not know how this only has 20 votes. Well done.

Love these guides. Would love to see a video or a map with lines showing the jungle route for both sides, I find that just saying where to start and where to go afterwards is a bit confusing to some people, mainly people who haven't really jungled or a new to the game.

You should add HotD as luxury or even as a situational core sometimes if you're drowning in gold. You can have permanent 4 creeps which can aid in pushing.

I guess I'll rework this guide a bit, since I haven't edited it in a long time. Thanks for the suggestions.

Is Lifestealer really a counter? I mean he's not going to use Infest just to kill one of your creeps.

Also with Enchantress, you can just steal the creep back, and it will have even more hp. Still agree that she's annoying, but you counter her too.

If they have a big stun like Primal Roar or Sacred Arrow, having that small satyr to save your stupid carry that gets hit by it is priceless.

Could you write a bit about when you should put a creep mid? I know they can destroy the enemy midlaner but before level 5 you only have one creep so it seems you are useless if your one creep is busy screwing their mid over and won't be able to jungle well.

Also the small satyr is very useful with ganks, though the downside is it's poor hp. its a purge that slows for 6 seconds and has a cooldown of 6 (!) seconds. Good early creep for ganking
Please, please put the harpy stormcrafter in your creep list. It does a 125 damage arc lightning with 900 cast range, costs 50 mana, cd of 5, and the harpy has 650 mana pool.
VERY VERY OP creep early.

Dang, I forgot to put them in this guide aswell. I did list both of them in my Doom guide, so I'll add them as soon as possible!

I don't like the Refresher that much because you usually don't have enough time to afford it: if the game drags for 60+ minutes I'd rather have a Scythe of Vyse to disable the six-slotted carry instead of a secondary heal (for which I might not have enough mana). It's great on paper, but not very handy.

About the Satyr, I actually never thought about that but it makes sense: I mean, the extra heal is already useful for a jungling Doom when you Devour it; having the aura on a laning carry is even more noticeable.

And thanks for the compliments! :D

Hey, great guide! Very concise and informative
I want to express some of my opinions when playing chen.
the Satyr is a really good carry babysitter, due to its hp regen and nuke. I usually harass the enemy a lot with shockwave and give unit control to the carry while i pull.
You might also want to add refresher orb to late-game items. 1050 hp healing to your whole team is really impactful especially when teamfights usually dictate the victor.
Otherwise, great guide :D
