All right, so I get it, maxing synergy is better for pushing towers because it gives more DPS to the bear with Demolish. Thanks Nubtrain for the math.

The survivability isn't such an issue because you don't focus down a 2300 HP bear in the early game anyways.

About skilling Demolish early, I'm not saying to not do it, I'm saying it's situational, just like skilling True Form. You skill demolish if you want to push towers and you skill ult if you are facing burst damage and/or early teamfights. Which depends on the situation.

Skilling rabid is of course for the attack speed and getting more entangles, but also for the movement speed. A 20% advantage in movement speed is absolutely insane in getting early kills : you keep the hero in ranged form, and at only level 9 you can run REALLY fast, which gives you insane killing/kiting/escape potential in small skirmishes.

I guess it really comes down to this : when you reach level 7, do you want to stay in lane, farm and get kills, or do you want to join your team and push towers early. I think both work.

For early pushing it's basically rotating mid and getting the mid tower. I've done that a lot and it's really effective yes. But on the other hand you can stay in lane to farm your radiance or something and kill anything that comes near. It's pretty good as well.
