- Less golem Hp
- Less stun duration
- more mana cost

His ult is fine the way it is. Warlock himself could use one though, his laning really needs to get more flexible.

The lack of damage was a little tough (number of times Fatal Bonds and that had got me out of a tight spot...). The golum did get an armour buff though, and it's still a big AOE stun that goes through BKB.

Like everything with Warlock, it happens slowly but is deceptively powerful. The biggest problem with his ult is still if somebody has a Diffusal Blade and can just Purge the golum straight off - I don't know if that should be removed tbh.

It's hard to say what you could change with his laning - he would benefit a lot from a stun, but it's hard to see how you could adapt his current powers without making him a very different hero. Maybe they could do something with Upheaval, give it a small damaging or debuffing element? (say reducing attack speed)

It's's fine, stun is all you need. Plus Shadow Word heals the Golem ridiculously quick and keeps it alive

In my opinion, the ulti is fine the way it is. If you combine it with Aghanim's Scepter + Refresher Orb and Upheaval, it's a great source of damage. If you manage to get the enemy in Fatal Bonds, even better.

Warlock is like Invoker in a sense that he needs a lot of levels instead of money, just less than Invoker. Yet he is a support, so he can't get both of these that much unless the team is steamrolling the other, where those won't matter anyway.

I think he either needs to lose the Shadow Word for a reliable disable (Changes his playstyle a bit, but it's needed badly and Shadow Word seems like the ability he ends up using the least]]) or nerf all his abilities and buff his ult massively, like a cd of 65 throughout. So to actually be considered good especially in the competitive scene, he would either need to strengthen what he does best at the cost of other things (Being ult dependent) or get a different playstyle imo.

Yeah levels are pretty important for him, another reason why he doesn't fit with the tri-lane meta (plus the lack of a normal stun). I'm not quite sure what you could do to change this without completely changing the hero - maybe the meta will change somewhat though with the recent changes.

Shadow Word is hella useful - closest thing he had to an escape, and also a good way of wearing down an opponent without pushing the lane. Maybe if things go more towards a 2-1-2 system he'll get more playtime in the pro levels.

Decided the thing I'd like to see with Upheaval would be a change to the lower level timings - as it stands it's almost useless at level 1 due to the time it takes to really get effective. How about if the maximum slow amount was decreased at lower levels, but the rate of slow was faster? That way it could be more consistently useful.

I'd much prefer they made the Golum non-purgable than anything else on his ult tbh - it has a very long cooldown, especially if someone can just go 'pop' and take all the damage out of it.

Really Warlock is all about synergy - he's never been able to do a lot of damage by himself, but he's incredible at making other heroes (esp. big AOE damage) better. Him and Sand King or Venomancer is pretty evil!

His golem is fairly slow. Just stay the **** away from him.

Or kill his master, the Warlock.

Well, dual lanes are back with 6.79, anyone tried using him as a farmer in a dual hard lane?
