But that's the problem with him soloing; you don't gain as much from being a dual lane, because even with his stat gain gold > levels for centaur, and against a ranged mid you can't do anything.

Against the natural ranged attack of the opponent you can Return + Stats and with 3 health pots + 2 gloves of strength you can last long enough to the point where they will eventually become reluctant to attack you.

However, as far as the spell spamming from someone like, let's say... Magnus who has a fast soul ring and can get off 2x slashes per load... yea.

That's suppose to be where the concept of the wand comes in... used to counter that kind of spamming but centaur doesn't need that mana, he needs life...

Too bad there isn't some way to adjust the life mana ratio of the wand so that you could do more life instead of mana....

Maybe start out with 3 pots, 1 tango and 4 branches and rush a Ring of Health? Might require constant ganking from a roamer to help keep you topped off and able to get last hits, but if you could get the ring by about the five minute mark I think you'd be doing nicely.

The problem with that is, what do you do with that once you're out of the lane? Build it into a Vanguard? Maybe if they have powerful initiation spells like Lasso or Doom you could go for a Linken's? A Hood and maybe prioritize Double Edge more in your build?

Build the ring into hood. Also you don't need that much regen, you can just rush a bottle and start ganking, especially with those early invis/haste runes. You can also spam your Hoof Stomp constantly, and the Double Edge can be easily regenerated with Tranquil Boots + Bottle.

There are 112 heroes in the game. The game is not even released yet and is still in beta. They are still making it balanced for the competitive scene.
My lone druid starting items are 12 Iron wood branches, 6 for the hero and 6 for the bear. Even if the bear does not get stats more twigs are OP on any hero.
