I think they miscalculated a bit when they changed the formula on how much money you get for kills.

You can literally get 2000 gold for 1 kill if you are behind, and i dont mean on 1 hero, multiple ones get it.

For example in a singsing stream he was diving fountain and he died to it, 2 heroes just hit him once and both got 2000 gold when sing died to fountain, the AFK lion got about 1600 for being in range.

Hotfix incoming.

I think it is pretty good. I mean how many times have you been losing to some fed bloodcyka? Well I know I have, and if I am playing a carry think of how well I can get back into the game everytime said bloodcyka makes a big mistake. I haven't tried the patch yet so maybe you're right.

I really like the idea too, but it is WAY WAY WAY overdone, i can hardly imagine this is not a mistake.
Getting 2000 gold on multiple heroes is crazy.

To get 1,6k for an assist you need to be really, really far behind. I have to say, I like it - it punishes lazy play and fountain farming, and rewards clutch plays from the losing team.

Maybe next time singsing won't dive the fountain with a massive gold lead. It's completely intended, the goal was to always leave room for a comeback and a huge deficit requires a correspondingly big bounty.

okay I'm gonna agree with you timminator, I literally played a game where I had like 20k gold on crystal maide, heavens halberd, 2 bkbs, drums, tranqs, force and mek. Like insane, I gain 3k gold from like 1 kill and 4 levels. Probably needs a nerf but it sure does make comebacks real. http://www.dotabuff.com/matches/922811961 the game in question, did still lose but we evened out the score and would've won if furion hadn't of ratted all rax.

I like the idea of the mechanic but it needs to be tweaked..

Here is a game I played recently I was the Tidehunter on dire..

http://www.dotabuff.com/matches/920657892

We lost the early and mid game hard and it shows in the xp graph. Mid got killed several times as well as top. I think I died once in the safelane but was left alone for awhile to farm against a solo brew so I did all right. At one point I think the radiant had like 10-20 kill lead on us.

Look at the overall stats though. Dire(my team) had more overall levels, more overall gold, and more GPM/XPM than radiant. However radiant had more hero kills, more last hits, FAR MORE structure kills, and they had at least 1-2 more Rosh kills than us. Yet some how my team ended with better gold, xp, and gpm/xpm. That shouldn't happen.

The only thing I can attribute it to is that we had 9 more assists thus giving us some extra gold, but it shouldnt make that big of a difference.

I think this would be ok if the gold amount received would be halved or limited, 2000 is ridiculous, especially to multiple heroes.

Valve should take care and be really careful with this.

Yeah I totally agree. The formula must be changed. The gold swings are so visible in pro matches and just one mistake by the carry can lead to instant gg. IMO that shouldn't be the case. Mistakes should be punished, but not so heavily and especially not so heavily if you've been playing well up to that point.
