Is the maim really that much?

also bounty is not a carry, sure he can oneshot heroes if he gets rediculously fed, but it is mainly about early game slow in ganks.
a squishy melee hero will not have much chance at carrying, epecially one who doesnt build attack speed and relies on 1 hit.

Alright Unscathed, let's just entertain this point, that Geminate Attack is overpowered, at least relative to Jinada. I don't think it is, given how it doesn't slow people, which forces you to dive into a lot more enemy territory as Weaver.

Dota is not balanced in the way that all heroes have 4 balanced abilities. Many heroes, like Sniper and Nature's Prophet have one or two extremely powerful abilities and others that are underpowered. Plus, the reason that Weaver's skillset is as powerful as it is is that it's balanced by his horrific stats and growth. BH on the other hand has a skillset more based on utility, scouting, and ganking than on farming to carry.

Nah, not OP at all. Very few things in Dota 2 are legitimately "overpowered". I can think of several steroids that are stronger than Geminate Attack.

For an example, take Tidebringer. It gives you bonus damage that pierces armor on EVERY UNIT within a radius. That makes Geminate Attack look rather weak by comparison :p

Add in the fact that it doesn't carry UAMs and it's just another basic auto attack. Weaver is excellent at getting in, surprising a lone target and killing them, and getting out without much damage, and that ability just complements his playstyle.

Sonething that i forgot to add before is...
A SPELL CANNOT BE OP ON ITS OWN.

Weaver statwise is pretty ****, mediocre stat gain, squishy, bad movespeed, bad attack speed, mediocre range.
But then he gets this really cool ability that gives him max MS and invis, and geminate attack that goes really well with his hit and run style.

Same for alchemist, garbage stat gain, gains pretty much no armor from levels, gets little HP, but chemical rage makes him MUCH better of a hero.
Imagine if a hero like luna would have chemical rage, pumping out hard hitting glaives at rediculous speed while having enourmous regen and good armor. That would be OP as ****

If you take both Enchant Totem and Geminate Attack, does your second hit get the bonus damage?
