I would also recommend Sand King. He has a rather good stun( Burrowstrike), an escape mechanism(courtesy of Sand Storm), can farm really well after the laning phase ( Caustic Finale) and has mass damage due to Epicenter.

Visage and Dazzle are pretty good, though they're both a bit level dependent. Both are naturally durable and have interesting skill sets.

Heroes with good, reliable teamfight abilities like Tidehunter and Disruptor are vital since one good teamfight can easily turn a game around in one team's favor.
