This is a blog of me showing off. I post new blogpost whenever I pleas. Or whenever I get a worth showing game. Today, I have had my best moments of shine in DotA2. Two of the first games. I got +1 commendation for leadership and +1 commendation for something (don't know what it is yet). The third game, was really fun!

First game. This is my best score with my favorite hero Storm Spirit! The game was a blast! I got really happy after this game.

Second game.PUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDGEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Third game.
We did Skeleton King + Ursa combo. We tried to solo Roshan at lvl1, but they knew about our secret mission and killed us both. Later in the game. We dominated lane and got really fed and finished the game in 16 minutes.

I don't know if you really got anything from this. But I must say. It was been hell of a day for me! I <3 DotA2.

Hey guys! Well the topic of a meta game appearing in Dota 2 is sort of an interesting topic to me, so I thought I would start a conversation and see where it goes :p And if you guys have any comments to expand or ask questions, feel free to comment. (I love answering them anyways :))

So the first question is "Do you think a meta game will develop in Dota 2?"

Well in my opinion Dota 2 will have a certain form of meta game. Like we see now there are plenty of different types of Dota teams. We see the pushing teams, ganking teams, and turtling teams. Now what I'm wondering is, Will people only want to play pushing teams because their favourite team does it? Now my friend "Timeslime" mentioned this and I was really intrigued. Because nowadays there are several ways of watching your favourite teams play, through live streams and youtube. So like in LoL, how many people try to copy their favourite players after watching them RAPE as a certain person (Amazing aoe fights, all man counter jun…

Hey guys! Another post of my experience with Dota 2! So recently I was playing some games of League and Dota. I found out what I really enjoy more about Dota compared to LoL.

The map and the roles. When I was playing both games, I really discovered that the map in Dota allows alot of variations that LoL does not allow. It allows the player to experience more then one gank path (Which really pisses me off in LoL how ONE ward will pretty much stop a gank, since they only have one path to go in order to gank, at least for top and bottom lane). As for Dota on the otherhand, due to the fact that the trees can be cut down, and that one is able to gank from several different places, the laning phase just seems much more interesting. Like for example, how often do you see in LoL a gank that continues after the people run to their tower? You almost never see a gank complete if the kill does not happen before the tower, but in Dota you can see endless possibilities, due to the towers having les…

Hey guys! I just noticed there were so many new players like me that came from LoL to play Dota 2!
So I thought I would start up a blog of my own to share my experience with this game so far :p.

Well I started playing Dota 2 at the start of December after playing about 1.5 years of League of Legends. Before I even started playing Dota 2, I was REAL excited to play. I saw so many games from Internationals and just reading Dota 2 wiki and hearing my friends talk about it got me real hyped up :p.

So when I got the Dota 2 beta key......I......was SOOOOO HAPPY. Ask anyone of my friends when I got it..... I WAS SCREAMING. :) So I started playing the game. I played many private games with bots with my friends that got it too. It was fun finally playing bots that could gank, roam, whatever, compared to LoL bots. :)

So now i have about 30 Real games played, with about 20 wins, and 10 losses. And i really enjoying people like veno, and shadow shaman.

Well I well probably add more soon, cause…

AKA I discovered the blog feature!

I've just recently gotten into the whole moba craze lately after a ton of pressure from my friends. I started playing League of Legend's a few month's back, and am finding it rather enjoyable!

However, this is meant to give a new perspective on DotA, not League, so let's not lose focus.

I have to say, when I first started this game, I found it horribly confusing. Not because I wasn't familiar with the concept (League ensured that) but, there was just so much stuff going on at once. All the stuff in the shops, all the different buttons that you had to keep track of, all the different hero's you're expected to have a near-encyclopedic knowledge of... It was a bit overwhelming, to say the least.

I've only played two games so far, one as some fire using lady with boobs (can't remember her name), and Sniper. So far, don't like fire shooting boob lady, really really really like Sniper. He reminded me a lot of Tristana (who is my main in League, btw). I'…

When I first started playing Dota 2, I expect there to be many people from HoN, LOL, and Dota. However, I am mostly just seeing HoN players and a few old time Dota people. I was somewhat curious to see if this is because people felt HoN was closer to the original Dota or if the LOL people are just more stisfied sticking with playing LOL. I personally have played all of them and find both LOL and Dota the most satisfying, but as soon as Dota 2 came out in beta I wanted to get my hands on a key and transition back to Dota style play in Dota 2.

What are anyone elses thoughts on the matter?

TL;DR Which is better HoN or LOL, and why did you switch to Dota 2?

Hi guys, we're streaming league matches from the North American Dota League pretty much on a daily basis at the moment on our Dotacast Channel. The games are pretty sporadic, so it's kinda like storm chasing for us. We sit around watching the players then chase after them when they decide to mobilise and play. So if you can't catch the games live we do upload the VODS to Mobacast.com.

Here's one featuring Playmate, Demon, Fear and Misery all from EG playing together. That turned out to be a really crazy match.

In HON we see the game much more focused on ganking and pushing, where as in DOTA2 it seems that most teams pretty much revolve around a single carry farming the entire game while the rest of the team does what they can to prolong and punish the enemy team for that duration.

I was wondering if there has been any real stray from this strategy over the years: I am aware that the general EU strategy is to constantly group up and try to rush enemies while the CN focus on a ranged carry farming the entire game and their allies keep pressure on the enemy team while keeping that carry safe while they free farm as much as possible, by any means.

I may be wrong, but I have been trying my best to follow the professionals these past few weeks to improve my game and see how they operate, what they prioritize and what their picks/bans are. And during that time, my conclusions from it, are all listed above. I was wondering what everyone's opinions were on this and hope to include new Blog updates …
