Dota, a dangerous game

Well because this is a community purely about dota I would like to talk about things that you can do that aren't dota related. I do this because there is way more in live than just dota and there are alot of people addicted to this game.

So I start with a little story from me. Previous year my granny was in hospital due to cancer. She is a really important person for me and I am for here the person where she has the strongest connection with. Of course I didn't want her to die, just like the rest of my family didn't want that. I was really sad, almost depressive during that period. But instead of helping my grandmother by visiting her and motivating her and stuff, I just played dota. I visited her sometimes but not as much as I should do and I also did less for school just to play dota. Dota was the best way for me to get away from all the trouble. Believe it or not Ive been gone for about a month playing League. Yes, I will accept the hate. All my friends play it, so I thoughtd I try it just so I could play with friends. Now im coming back to my home territory. League is disgustingly easy in comparison. Takes about 10 nukes to get someone to half health.

MY CRITIQUE OF LEAGUE

• No in-game voice chat. Cannot get anything done.
• Holy s*** its is so unbelieveably pay to play. Unfourtunately for me I got hooked on the 'buy a champ' rush and eneded up spending about 100 bucks on league. Disgusting. You need to play 63 games in order to save enough in-game currency for a new champ. So say 6300 hours later you wont evenb have enough to buy the entire roster of champs. What?
• The runes and masteries are just dumb. Theres things that give poeple an advantage outaide of the actual gameplay? Makes no sense. Starting off even every match is refreshing.
• The whole 'bushes that hide you' is just kinda unessisary. I mean what do

Ranked matchmaking seems to have a REALLY hard time deciding what to do with me.

Hot off a three game losing streak (which is really an eight game streak with a nice breath of fresh Zeus pub-stomping air in between), I figured it was as good a time as any to queue up and see if I can get this thing done I promised I would. And I waited. And waited. Ten minutes later I stopped waiting, went and took a shower, did some stretches, set my alarm for work, and queued back up again. This time it only took five minutes. Hooray?

I'm somewhat encouraged by this: after all, longer wait times means there aren't as many people at my level to queue with, right? Then again, the guy who insta-picked Spectre on my team was only 2.7K so... maybe I shouldn't get my hopes up for a 3K+ calibration. 2.4K was my initial prediction, after all.

Just a little ******** about outworld devourer and my evolution in playing the hero.

First I want to make clear that I'm not an outworld devourer expert or something like that but I'm starting to get the hero a bit and I'm abusing him to gain mmr. I play him mostly mid but sometimes I will do a safelane od or even an oflane outworld devourer. But before I start about myself I will just talk a bit about the for long time forgotten Outworld devourer.

I've been wanting to write about Spirit Breaker lately. I don't know why. Something about the hero's caught my attentions and I can't get it out of my mind.

Oy. This isn't the kind of site for you to work out your weird cow fetishes.

Annnyways, my original plan for this article was to see how fast you'd have to get Spirit Breaker attacking in order for you to guarantee that, once Greater Bash came off cooldown, the Pseudo-Random Distribution would be primed in your favor to get you another one immediately. So I loaded up a Bristleback with 6 hearts, gave Spirit Breaker five Moon Shards and a 6th eaten one, and had at it.

The result was that the Pseudo-Random Distribution isn't calculated at all while Greater Bash is off cooldown. I was disappointed at first, but ultimately I find this result kind of satisfying. It means that attack speed items can only help Spirit Breaker up to a certain …

I like Dota, exspecialy designing my own item builds. Cause of my slow hands and my refuse to use certain items. Despite knowing that they are good. I have to design my own Builds and come up with own solutions. This is what this blog is about. Its not an actuall build more a work in Progress. For builds - maybe somebody helps me gives me ideas i can work in.
