Lion Needs A Nerf

Yeah there's the tip of the spike that goes further than the actual range so it's actually 950 effective range (I just checked it)

Can hit up units up to 950 range because of the Spike Radius 125. Actual cast range is 825.

Same with Nyx Assassin. Can hit up units up to 825, because of the 125 Spike Radius. Actual cast range is 700.

Radius and Range are two different things you know.

Lion and Vengeful Spirit are top tier support picks currently, because they're all-round useful. You can't really pick a line-up where these heroes wouldn't work.

I don't think that necessarily means they need nerfing. I just feel other supports could be brought in line with them with minor buffs and tweaks.

Lion has the same problem as all the other supports have. He's a support. Thus being a support; him getting any gear very soon in a lane is varied depending on how good the core in lane is. This is even more true in a hotly contested lane. He is also not that great of a farmer. His spike gives some decent creep damage but he doesn't have the right clicks as a core and doesn't have an innate ability to farm easily. Unlike Enigma or Sand King.

That being said; he's a good support under the current meta due to how much control and damage he can bring to bear on another team.
