I myself haven't played Drow that much but i think she's still pretty good safelaner (or even a situational mid) that just needs to ve last picked to prevent counter picks.

What comes to her skills i think Gust is ok atm but her ulti needs buff, lile only losing half the agility gained from her ulti, or then just buff Gust to push enemies even more.

When would i draft her? I dunno because i don't do drafting that much but i could imagine myself drafting her in to a push or mid game fighting oriented team.(Also Drow plus Visage combo 2 gud)

I love Drow Ranger centered lineups.

In short, here is my opinion on those lineups.

1. You need a tanky teamfighting ranged core (since Drow is squishy, and needs someone else on the front lines). Pick from either Morphling (the best partner, in my opinion), Viper, Razor or Shadow Fiend. If Viper or Razor, acknowledge the fact that you have a ****py late game, and try to end the game fast. If Morphling or Shadow Fiend, your late game looks decent if they have the space to farm up big items.

2. Pick Visage. No, seriously. Just pick the damn Visage. The synergy is so OP it's not even funny. Three birds (of course Visage can find the space to farm an aghs) with insane attack speed and damage boost? I'm still not convinced that this was intentional from Valve (allowing Precision Aura to affect Summon Familiars).

3. Venge would be a great 5 position on your lineup. Insane amounts of mid game damage with Vengeance Aura, nice armor reduction to help you lay down more right clicks from Wave of Terror, and a get-out-of-jail free card for the Drow Ranger in case she gets into sticky situations, thanks to Nether Swap. This synergy is beautiful too, although not as disgusting as the one with Visage.

4. Offlaners that can provide a decent lockdown are great for this lineup. I'm thinking about Batrider, Clockwerk, Axe, Tidehunter, etc. This is probably the one lane where you might have to go for a melee hero if bat is banned.

When not to pick Drow Ranger? My biggest red flags are Axe and Clockwerk. These totally ruin games for the Drow Ranger. They can close the gap (getting rid of Marksmanship), and ensure that she stays in melee range. In my opinion, one of Drow's greatest strengths is a combination of kiting and burst damage during the mid game. These heroes remove those two factors.

What I think would be an awesome Drow Ranger lineup: Safe lane 2 position Drow Ranger, Mid 1 position Morphling, Offlane Batrider, 4 position Visage, 5 position Vengeful Spirit.

My skill build usually is maxing Frost Arrows with one point in Precision Aura, maxing Gust next, and maxing out the aura last, taking Marksmanship at 6, 11 and 16.
