I spent my day watching streams and all I saw was Oracles feeding and having zero game impact.
OP ulti? Nobody says Dazzle is OP and Shallow Grave isn't even an ultimate ; on top of that Dazzle has an ulti that gives -24 armor to your whole team - Oracle hasn't got much on top of False Promise.
Am I the only one thinking that the hero is balanced? He has a very awkward timing window for snowballing off the early game (especially for a support) and in the late game he's pretty much a walking ult. And he's always focused first in teamfights.
Strong hero? Potentially, yes. Needs a nerf? Besides a small cooldown increase or duration nerf on his ulti, no way.
im not sure on how strong oracle is, but definately on the strong side.
Winrate doesnt say anything, when earth spirit came out with the stun on the pull ability he also had a ~40% winrate even though he was the most overpowered hero in years, he was such a free win, he should have had a 75% winrate if pubs arent braindead.
Well the most OP thing you can think of is to team him up with a glass cannon like a Mask of Madness Luna or Shadow Fiend and wrecking teamfights. But then it's pretty much Dazzle with a longer duration.
I played Huskar, friend played Oracle. I jumped into the fountain, killed two people and walked away with full health. But I don't think he is op either, Tinker often wins games with having 30 kills at the end and we can agree on him being balanced. I don't think oracle really needs a nerf, he has many downsides as other supports. Sure, if his team is winning the game, comeback is really hard for enemies, which is kinda like Dazzle, and he has decent comeback potential himself, paired with right carry like Huskar or Alchemist that can really benefit from his skillset, but he isn't YOLOSWAGNOSCOPE pubstomper like trench-tier Riki.
tl;dr: strong in right hands, just like anyone else, but more or less balanced.
Some cereal talk now. Oracle is too stronk. I won 4/5 games on him. The lost game was this one http://www.dotabuff.com/matches/1040320790 clearly Furion and Tinker were either trolling or high.
You can prevent damage on your carry AND heal him up at the same time. You also force the enemy team to get truesight which damages their economy.
Your carry can go in without any worry, because he's ****ing invincible for 7/8/9 seconds and will be full health when it end PLUS he can use all skills and attack during that time. If you combine Oracle with a burst hero like SF, Ember or some **** you'll literally buttrape all the time.
