hey guys so heres the thing.

heroes that are ... hard to place. or only have one place they can go.

like

Undying

Silencer

Omni Knight

ive been looking at stats and synergy between items and skills and ive been looking at builds for them.

heres an example of what im talking about.

Silencer

pro's
- insane levels of harass in lane
- great counter intiation
- great zoning abilities
- high AGI gain
- insane DPS late game
con's
- squishy
- lacks escape
- low move speed
- no lock down
- needs levels
- needs farm
- NEEDS TO BE INVOLVED IN KILLS to have relevance late game(this is a big one)

ok this guy ... silencer, nostrom, the quiet bringer, the one who makes cease, the serenity herald (i totally love that name btw ((copyrighted to me *****es!!)))

this guy is ... what? semi carry ? hard carry? support? pos 3? pos 2? pos 4? where do you lane him? what strategy do you run?

he does well as a pos 4 yet he needs farm to have relevance. he does great with farm and can put out some dps but not as much as harder carries. he has no dodge or evasion no escape and no farming ability his animations are horrible yet ..yet he can snowball so hard like an OD.

so as with the other heroes who suffer from this curse... what do you do?

thoughts? how would you build him? how would you lane the other heroes ? what would you guys build on them? where would they fit in a draft?

EDIT: my thoughts are this : build him as a snowballer. let him go mid for quick level 6 then roam. put him in a line up with incredible lock down and sustain. venge and slardar and shadow shaman or shadow demon, lifestealer, centaur... heroes that what ever lane he goes into he has a stun, slow, disable allowing him to deal his damage. once he gets kills he starts to deal damage. nothing more scary then a 50 stack of glaives on a silencer. i would build him as a dps glass cannon, mjollnir scythe assault cuirass treads black king bar forcestaff.

I WILL DESTROY YOU ALL.... WITH FLUFFY BUNNIES

Personally, I prefer him to go mid. Amazing harass from well every spell minus ult. Play him as semi-carry (pos 2.) and really during laning phase gank mid with stunner e.g. Ogre Magi. Then once level 6, start roaming. gank like all hell depends on it. get kills for you carry. I DONT CARE. but yes I agree sort of with ur idea of snowballing. Except for one thing. What if your losing. Then you have to rely on massive team fights (hopefully teamwipes) where you end with (for teamwipe) +10 int.

So really another possible role is build a team fight team that can still gank. So an example line could be;
Silencer - mid
Centaur Warruner - offlane
Ancient Appiration - Safelane support
Spectre - safelane hard carry
Skywrath Mage or other good roamers/supports - roaming support.

So really you have solo kill potential from Silencer, AA, Skywrath and CW.
Insane teamfight due to... everything practially (cept sky).

However, what I noticed just from writing this is if you have heroes similar to Silencer is that you can build around 2 sort of areas but miss out on the 3rd (my previous line-up mentioned being anti-push/push isn't amazing. anything else lemme know). If you did a similar thing with omni, you could end up with insane teamfight and laning phase if you do sort of typical line ups. The pushing capabilities and kill potential all basically rely on the other 4 picks.

Not sure if that made sense but I tried.
Your new diet for heroes; You will need 4 wards (cuz wards taste better), 1 set of tangoes, 1 mango, 1 cheese.
With this you can make a nice Tango Mango Cheese platter. You can wash this all down with a nice bottle of water, Can be flavoured with red, green, yellow, blue, purple AND GOLD!
Caution: Taking roshan 3 times is required.

Enigma, not that it is not clear but jungling does make you open to potential ganks, offlaning with him is pretty dangerous too and a lane support isn't the best thing to do with enigma. Or Nyx Assassin, he can go offlane, support and sometimes even mid.

why would someone put Nyx in support? Like really people, he has decent harass and survivability. He is best on mid or on circumstances offlane.
