1. The Primordials (above everyone, the Gods of Doto)
2. The Ancients (perhaps the first creation of the primordials. To create the basic nature of the world: kind and wicked)
3. The Fundamentals (the basic susbtance of the world)
4. The Titans (crafter and forger of worlds)

The Primordials are mentioned in the official Dota 2 Lore. It is said that 'The Primordials grew tired of it, and cast them(the ancients) into a single being: fusing them together in what is known as the Mad Moon'(not exact in words).

The Ancients are above Fundamentals because the fact that they are able to influence one or the other. Keeper of the Light and Io were influenced by Radiant, and Chaos Knight and Enigma affiliated with the Dire. I would put heroes like Weaver to Fundamentals.

The Titans are the lowest: their job is just to craft and forge from what the Deities had created before: thus making the world more beautiful(subject to change).


Now, one might think... Zeus? How did a Primordial affected by an Ancient? Now here is the first theory: Once Zeus ascended to the mortal world, he actually descended.

He became mortal, and his minds corrupted and weakened by the powers of the Ancients

The same could be said to the Gods of Underscape: Visage and Razor. The same may also be said to the Hell Dwellers.


Now this is odd. Who are the Hell Dwellers? Why are they obsessed by the Earth? And also to the other planes-walker. Perhaps the same to Visage and Razor, too.

My theory: The Earth is like a rich paddyfield. It is thriving and rich, and is subject to otherworldy invaders.
When the Hell Dwellers came, they felt something powerful and sinister- much more than they are now

The Ancients are really powerful, they can influence even a planes-walker and any mortals alike. Anything except the Primordials they can control.

I love the Radiant is evil thing. It's like the assumption of Light vs Darkness, and Light is good. Light is NOT good. Both of them wage war and tried to spread influence. It doesnt matter what a side is based: they tried to rule with unkind ways.
