I wondered why all the Riki, sniper, pudge, bloodseekers out there and…

BOOM!

It hit me.

a noob sees a riki, he sees him get killing spree. He says "wow that hero must be good he just got a lot of kills. Uses riki. gets good with riki. repeat… ugh.

So what's the problem with that? Let them! At some point they will get punished for their pick and these poor souls will learn that their "OP" heroes are actually not so OP.

When that Sniper will have the enemy Enchantress camping the mid lane for the whole early game and killing him over and over, or the enemy mid Templar Assassin wrecking him in lane and killing him at full HP under his own tower with impunity 10 times in a row...or when that Riki or Bloodseeker will realize that no matter how fed these heroes get they are still completely unable to carry with them because of how weak they are in teamfights and even in 1 v 1 manfights (the new Bloodseeker is actually a support honestly) - they will end up picking other heroes :)

Just had a fun little game: http://www.dotabuff.com/matches/932836329

I was playing Centaur with PA in the offlane.. Enemy team had a Prophet that decided to use our jungle (because pubs.. and no one wards).. So the enemy Sniper ended up solo safe lane for the dire against me and PA.. Needless to say, it was fun xD

PA would dagger him, which would make his potato run speed even slower.. I'd walk up, stomp, double edge, PA blink strike.. Easy kills all early game..

Honestly, only their Earth Spirit was decent..

Bloodseeker is actually a lot more viable in competitive play now that he isn't silenced. Due to this he can now combo effectively with a lot of heroes even if HE isn't doing so well ( Zeus for example).

Hmmm. Yes I agree, he has much more utility now. One could even play him as a support now, because of his AoE silence and damage as well as the increased damage. Also he can keep enemy heroes down with Rupture so the farming hero could go in for the kill.

Does anyone else here just love his new 'Blood Rite' skill? It looks cool and has great potential. d;p

It would be interesting to see if he gets some Pro competitive play...
