I'd agree the Mjollnir into Desolator is fine, the lightning only procs on 25% of attacks, and the corruption will simply refresh the rest of the time. You might occasionally lose a little damage if you don't land any starting armour reduction and instead get a few lightning procs, but it won't be much, and you might even gain damage this way. I wouldn't worry about it.

The Maelstrom before Butterfly makes complete sense - there's no doubt Butterfly is a stronger item (at least as long as people don't have Monkey King Bar), but they have completely different jobs. Butterfly is primarily a lategame defensive item against strong right clickers, Maelstrom is an early-midgame pushing and farming item.

Personally I prefer the Power Treads into Drum of Endurance build on Mirana - this build isn't bad by any means, but I think it leaves you pretty squishy for a long time. She has weak strength growth, and the only HP you're getting is +3 strength/57 hp from the Ring of Aquila until you finally reach Manta Style.

damage does not stack with illusions so manta is not a good idea if you buy damage and attack speed. build stats if you want manta... skadi :D

Also, building a Desolator AND a Mjollnir is pointless since the desolator effect doesn't stack. You do get the negative armor orb when the Mjollnir doesn't proc but that seems such a waste of 4100 gold. I'd suggest either building a Desolator or a Mjollnir, not both.

Thanks for your suggestion i have made changes to the build and made Desolator as optional,, i get it may be going for other luxury item may be more usefull but at some situation when there are much tanky opponents i would prefer a Desolator even with Mjollnir as it do give out the negative armor attack when mojllnir is not active and it wont seem a complete waste of 4100 gold. But i do agree with you at some point ty

If going for a Desolator, I feel it would be much more optimal to just get a Butterfly, since it's a much better all-round item compared to a Mjollnir for slightly more gold. Mid-late game, I don't think Mirana has any trouble pushing a lane, so I still feel that Mjollnir is an out-of-place pickup in a build with Desolator in it.

It depends, if you can easily get a Butterfly, then yes, it's probably better in terms of DPS, but a Maelstrom -> Mjollnir is much easier to build, since it's components are cheaper, not to mention, the Passive is useful for popping a Linken's Sphere, and the Active is useful on a Tank. That's one of the great things about Mirana, she can suit a multitude of Items. <}3

I suppose this means Butterfly needs adding to Situational. I would also add Black King Bar to Core, sometimes a Linken's Sphere is better, but only sometimes.

I agree. However, in your example of a flash farming Naga Siren or Shadow Fiend, by the end game, even a safe lane Mirana would fall back to the 2 position, with those flash farmers being the hard carries. So, a mid Shadow Fiend or Naga Siren would be the hard carry with Mirana in the 2 position.

If you plan on ending the game early though, Mirana can be a viable 1 position. This requires coordination from the team though, and in a matchmaking scenario, isn't that reliable in my opinion.

If you are playing Mirana as a ganker, a Bottle becomes an absolute necessity. She suffers from a low mana pool, and high mana cost abilities which she needs to use in nearly every single gank.

Agreed

Actually, since Corruption lasts for 15 seconds, the Mjollnir is fine, there's no issue with Lightning overriding it, since it won't do so every time.

One thing to keep in mind though, playing Mirana in the 1 position (hard carry) is very risky since she is easily outcarried by other carries. Ideally, she should be played as 2 or 3.

It's useful to Carry with her if you're planning to end in the Mid-Game though, you can always have a Flash Farming Carry Mid as well, e.g. Naga Siren, Dragon Knight, Shadow Fiend, etc.

^ as said.

You'll need a Bottle as a gsnker since you have ****py mana pool early on. Also, I would pick either Desolator or Mjollnir since having both is a tad redundant.

Also, if you want to use Starstorm to farm and/harrass, which I personally don't think is a good idea, I would not max it first as the mana cost increases. Also, ganking-wise, maxing Sacred Arrow is more efficient due to the damage. But, of coz, if you aren't that good at landing arrows, maxing Starstorm first is a good idea.

Also, you might want to add Bounty Hunter as a counter because of his Track and most of the silencing-hero as they screw up your escape bigtime.

Also, your skill build is towards the defensive. With a good support combo ( Bane or Shadow Demon), you can put the second point in Starstorm as opposed to Leap to setup easy first bloods.
