Rod of Atos on OD

So I've been playing around with the newly implemented items on OD, and I personally have fallen in love with an early pick up of Rod of Atos. Was wondering how other people felt about this pick up on the hero.

Do you think it could serve as a replacement for an early force staff in a game where you are doing moderately well (e.g. not instantly buying sheep stick well)? It makes it virtually impossible for a hero to get away from you in conjunction with Astral Imprisonment, and it also gives you some much needed health as well as more INT than force staff.

Thoughts?

You don't need a force staff on OD.. Who told you that? You must fill your inventory with Null Talismans, boots and a teleport, and save up for your strong luxurys like Shiva's and Sheepstick... Force staff is really a pub item. If you really don't want to save alot of money you CAN buy Rod of Atos but its really better to save your money. A sheepstick is way better
