I don't know how many of yall have watched free to play yet but I took some time out of my say to watch it and I must say it was incredibly well done and I enjoyed it the entire way through. What did you all think about it?

Yeah it was very well made. I was expecting it to be about TI3 so it felt some what anachronistic. Like why has the film taken almost 3 years to be released? Still very interesting to see what the pro scene was like then, the picks and strats. So it was good to learn a bit more about Dota before I found it. For example I didn't know that much about Fear and just how influential he has been on other pros. But I think I would have preferred to see a tournament that i have actually watched.

i think the reason was that TI1 was the first major gaming tournament to have such a large prize pool basically elevating it into "competitive sports" territory so F2P wasnt so much a documentary about the amazing players but more about how this was the start of competitive gaming becoming legitimate. and also it was about DENDI THE SUPERSTAR ... but yea fanboyism aside, this was incredibly well edited and made. and its Valve anything worth doing they take years until its perfect.

^this

The first was the most hyped because... well, it was the first.

You can't really make this without Dendi, and based on the hype you would get from his life and matches, you shouldn't end the documentary with "Puppey walked towards me and got coiled so we lost"

I thought it was a great Documentary. It was interesting learning about the lives of the players spotlighted. I hope that they make one for every DotA 2 International.
