For Invoker do you guys think an orchid or a sheep stick is a better option when pressed to pick against a late game hero say Lifestealer or Faceless Void

Scythe of Vyse, always. The only time I'd pick the Orchid Malevolence would be versus a Hero that heavily relies on his mobility like Storm Spirit, Ember Spirit or Weaver. Or simply if I need to counter initiators.

Hex is ALWAYS better in lategame, but ofcourse orchid is a good first item becouse of its lower cost and becouse it is more early game focussed.

The other thing is with Orchid the silenced hero can just pop a bkb, while with hex items are disabled also.

Officially Scythe of Vyse is better than Orchid Malevolence because it disables the whole hero.

Against those two heroes. Sheep stick all the way.

Orchid Malevolence is only good as a rushed item on midgame gankers (Storm, QoP, Clinkz etc) due to being easily purgeable via BKB or Eul (so it loses effectiveness around 25-30 minutes depending on enemy farm). It's rarely (if ever) a good pickup on Voker.

But also on that note. H4nn1 is H4nn1. We all are not. Pro players can get away with a lot more due to their skill level.

it depends on how you play invoker.
as quas wex, you normally dont have good autoattacks anyways,
which makes scythe the better choice.

exort invokers have really good autoattack dmg by default,
so a fast orchid amplifys this by a lot.

if you watch h4nn1s stream, you will see him playing an exort invoker 9 out of 10 times.
