Oracle

So I've been studying the newer heroes in Dota 1, and I have run across a perplexing skill. oracle has a skill called purifying flames, which does massive damage--and heals for about the same amount. I just... I don't understand it and was wondering if a particularly astute individual could explain it to me.

ok basically you use it in conjunction with his other skill which purges all effects for 2.9 seconds called fortunes End, it also does damage at lvl 4 of 300, you cast purifying flames on the hero then cast fortunes end and you will do 660 damage and the healing wont take effect due to the purge.

all his skills basically make him an amazing baby sitter and his ultimate omg ... it gives the hero under it invis even while attacking and delays ALL damage for at max lvl 9 seconds ... think about a Invisible sven attacking you and nothing damages him ....

you can also use to to kill any heros because the damage is instant and the heal is duration based so u wont get the first 44hp heal until the 1 second mark .

also the damage is not applied to allied units so it can be a massive heal for your lane partner.

all of his abilites are geared towards 2 directions.

baby sitting your hard carry in lane.

making sure your carry is able to deal out everything it can in a team fight and surviving the fight as well.

It actually heals more (36 HP more to be exact) than it deals damage for, and in conjunction with False Promise, the heal becomes doubled.

It's also ridiculous in conjunction with Chemical Rage.



This is fake, the damage is non-lethal, but it deals damage to allies.

And the damage the ally takes from the ultimate is LETHAL, so even after he got damaged, he will die if that damage was enough.
