Things wrong with this guide :

SKILL BUILD:
You only need 1 level in conjure image as early game you have pitiful hp and dmg(except when metamorphed), even then a 10% dmg increase is not worth it. At max your illusion will gain not more than 20 dmg.
Reflection should be maxed after metamorphosis as not only the damage increases but more importantly the cooldown goes down too. When maxed it has an insane cooldown of 10 sec which is more than enough to cast it twice or thrice in a fight letting you dish out some serious dmg. It is also your only disable.

ITEM BUILD:
Armlet and Blink Dagger in rejected? ARE YOU HIGH?
Desolator and MJollnir in mid game items? You already have the damage. What you need is more survivability via more hp. A drums should be picked up instead of an aquila.
Radiance in item list? You are not PL or Naga.

OTHER PROBLEMS:
Low BAT as a con? ARE U SERIOUSLY HIGH?

Being flat out honest you need more experience before writing a guide as you might just lead someone the wrong way with such guides.
As the guy after me posted in the pit lord guide. REFRAIN FROM MAKING GUIDES.

LoL, I didn't get this when I made my guide and you commented on it :3

So the response has been that Reflection illusions of PL cannot make more illusions because of a mechanics issue (bug?). Basically, Juxtapose/Phantom Edge works in DoTA 1 by using Wand of Illusion cast by a dummy unit targetting the illusion or hero, but the Reflection illusion have Locust (same status effect used for Infested LS and Slight of Fist ES) so they cannot be targeted by the dummy unit and no further illusion can be created. I would guess that even though there is no reason for this to occur in DoTA 2 the port will keep the interaction to maintain consistency.

Yasutsuna, the mention of crit was referring to a discussion of how strong Moment of Courage gets that was part of a brief tangent discussion of carry's for whom their strongest skill is not their ultimate (eg. Reflection is arguably much stronger than Sunder in the late-game). However, I assume anything that usually works for illusions (evasion, diffusal, crit, etc.) that doesn't work for the Reflection is ultimately caused by the Locust property preventing a dummy unit from targeting the Reflection (is anything in DoTA not based on dummy units?).

Nice guide. Agreed that there are a few things I would change, but I can see that most of that is covered by the comments above. The only thing I would say (and forgive me its been a while) but I would add a Mask of Madness and a Blink Dagger to your late game. I always ran in, used activate Manta Style, use MoM, kill someone, use my ult, and then try to blink out if needed or blink in for an unexpected gank. I like that you also have Diffsual Blade I thought I was the only one that used it on him lol. Overall, you guide does have some problems, but you do get the idea and how to build him so for that I'll give you a +1

Chemist, from what I know of Dota vanilla, i never proc crit before. Seems to me the Reflection does raw damage (with the +dmg) but doesn't proc skills like Crit and so. We will wait for your update though, just to confirm.

Never procced juxtapose for me mate .

The whole point of countering the real PL is to isolate or locate the real one which when done just leaves a high armor hero to take down.

MoC is extremely powerful. Imagine critting while holding a Rapier and proccing MoC.

I've submitted a post in the advanced mechanics forum on Play Dota about TB and PL (http://www.playdota.com/forums/showthread.php?p=9010500#post9010500). I'll update with any responses.

When you have enough Duel wins to basically have a free Rapier (250+ bonus damage) and crit, the game gets really confusing because you click on people and they suddenly disappear. MoC is also very powerful in the early game because its extraordinary for harass on melee heroes (since if you a-click them the enemy creep attacks will proc it) and the damage/heal can make quite a difference in a throw-down. I've gotten a number of First Bloods because a MoC proc completely turned around a (wo)man-fight.

Ab4ddon, based on the tooltip ("Terrorblade slows the target unit's movement and attack speed and creates a phantom illusion (untargetable, invulnerable) of that target attacking it for the duration.") the Reflection is an illusion thats has the special status of untargetable and invulnerable and has an overriding attack order on the target. This illusion should be able to proc Juxtapose on attacks just like any other illusion of PL, unless there is a specific exception (I readily admit I do not know the mechanics of Reflection, so correct me if I'm wrong).

You do make a good point that TB doesn't do well against PL in a 1v1 (unless the Reflection can proc Juxtapose and TB gets very lucky), but in a teamfight with an ally thats decent against PL or one that can identify the real PL or clear illusions even temporarily, Reflection would do quite a bit of work.

And yes, I think Reflection the rare example of a carry skill that is arguably much stronger than the carry's ultimate by the late game. Another oft overlooked example is Moment of Courage which, since it is coded to give two attacks per proc in DoTA 2, basically means Legion Commander has an effective BAT of 1.1-1.2 in teamfights (5/1.7+2/1.2=4.6 attacks/second max; 5/4.6=1.08 BAT).

^ Only fun to torture someone slowly.

A jungling Illidan (Terrorblade) doesn't seem legit at all. He is far too weak to take the role and if he took it, he will take a humiliating death.
