depends, single target is euls sceptre then timing sunstriker and meteor to hit at once, then defeaning blast, at level 9 this combo already does enough to kill most int/agi heroes, euls is usually a must for me, since it has so much synergy with ur spells, such as ice wall
for items i usually go with an euls then an sceptre, the euls is such a great disable as it helps set up your combos, as well as chasing. aghanims is self explanatory, i know it may seem weird buy i very often dont need any damage items such as a daedelus or mkb, i actually go for a refresher, with levels your spells are your greatest weapons, and with a refresher, your most powerful combos will be doubled in a teamfight, that and it looks cool as hell when u spam 2 meteors onto the enemy! but it all comes down to preference, my playstyle of invoker is mainly a nuker, disabler semi carry, in all honesty invoker doesnt do the job of a hard carry, that extra gold is better off with a faceless void or a Phantom assasin since they have a much better skillset which can make use of the gold more, but nevertheless if you really have too, a daedelus and assault cuirass will turnj you into a monster along with your forge spirits armor reduction and cold snap, you probably could perma stun a troll warlord if enough attack speed! how ironic is that! but all in all if you really want an in depth guide on playing invoker i first have to see how you normally play your heroes, since the mindset is important.
edit: if you play as an exort invoker, tornado meteor blast is a simple yet extremely effective combo if timed well in teamfights, in early stages of the games, if leveled well enough, could wipe an entire team. literally.

Please do post here if you would like to have me as a friend and mentor! I am eager to teach people as I feel I have gotten far with this hero and I would like to share and show people what it is capable of! As well as bringing more invoker players to the community.

Thanks for the help man. It's crazy to see how many ways Invoker. He can also be built in many ways to create some extremely deadly combos, such as Enigma's Blackhole and meteor strike stack well.

^^ i agree, invoker has so much spells and utility, which is why people say that he is the most powerful hero in the game, because of his cc. being able to control the teamfight at will is just insane

I'll be happy to let you teach me how to play Invoker, but you should know i've never played him. So I can't play him at all. If you're still up for it add zippox58 on steam, ingame name cruziX :)

I can still take in more students, preferably from the SEA region since it will be hard for me to show you stuff in the lobbies, but for now just post here if you require my free services! You have nothing to lose, so please just feel free and add me!
