- Skills
Trumpeter
Active Ability, Single Target, 1000 range, Enemy or Ally, 10 sec cooldown.
Take control of a target enemy or neutral creep for duration. Creep is buffed by Allied Affliction.
If targeted on an allied creep, that creep becomes affected by Allied Affliction.
If targeted on enemy Hero, that hero becomes affected by Allied Affliction.
If targeted on allied Hero, that hero becomes affected by Allied Affliction.
All effects are based on level of Allied Affliction.

Level 1: 1 target max, 30 second duration, 90 Mana
Level 2 : 1 target max, 40 second duration, 90 Mana
Level 3 : 2 targets max, 50 second duration, 100 Mana
Level 4 : 3 targets max, 60 second duration, 110 Mana

Dance Puppet
Active Ability, Single Target, 800 range, Enemy Hero, 25 sec cooldown, 3 second duration.
Target hero becomes locked in place, unable to move. (Can still use skills and attack). When Piper moves, the enemy hero moves in the same direction, mirroring Piper's movements. If a cliff or unpassable terrain is in the way, the targeted hero won't move.
While Piper is in this state he can move, but cannot use skills or attack. His movement speed is lowered/increased based on level. Lasts 3 seconds. After effect ends, the enemy hero becomes affected by Allied Affliction for 10 seconds.

Level 1 : 50% movement speed reduction, 60 Mana
Level 2 : 20% movement speed reduction, 60 Mana
Level 3 : 10% movement speed increase, 80 Mana
Level 4 : 30% movement speed increase, 100 Mana

Allied Affliction
Passive Ability
Grants Piper movement speed and life regen based on level. Any allied Heroes or creeps that are targeted by Trumpeter or in range of Song of Control will also gain this buff.
Enemy heroes or creeps that are targeted by Trumpeter or Song of Control will gain the debuff effect of movement speed slow and taking damage per second.
The Debuff doesn't stack effect, but resets duration for every attack.

Level 1 : Buff 3% MS, 4 HP Regen; Debuff 5%, 10 HP a sec, 4 second duration.
Level 2 : Buff 6% MS, 5 HP Regen; Debuff 10%, 20 HP a sec, 4 second duration.
Level 3 : Buff 9% MS, 6 HP Regen; Debuff 15%, 30 HP a sec, 4 second duration.
Level 4 : Buff 12% MS, 7 HP Regen; Debuff 20%, 40 HP a sec, 4 second duration.

Song of Control
Active Ability, No Target, 1000 radius, All Heroes and Creeps, 180 sec cooldown.
Piper plays an alluring song that affects everyone around him. Allied and Enemy heroes and creeps in range gain the effects of Allied Affliction. All enemy creeps come under Piper's control. All creeps automatically target the closest enemy Hero. Piper's movement speed is reduced by 70%, but he can move while the skill is active. Effect ends immediately when moving out of range.

Level 1: Lasts 5 seconds, 250 Mana
Level 2 : Lasts 7 seconds, 350 Mana
Level 3 : Lasts 10 seconds, 550 Mana

Role : Initiator, Jungler, Support

Lore : Hired by a governor, Manec the Piper was brought in to get rid of the swarm infestation of kobolds that have overrun his town's fields. Promising him a lot of gold, he entered into the contract with high hopes, using his specific skills set, he lead the kobolds out of the village and into the nearby jungle.
When he returned, the governer was in shock, having heard of an incoming army that would destroy their town and take them all as prisoners. He refused to pay Manec, claiming that he could not worry about a small thing like a pest remover.
Angry and poor, the Piper took revenge. He used his flute to lure all of the governor's soldiers, woman and children from the town, and towards a nearby city. This left the governor defenseless, with only his supposed loyal nobleman to defend him. The enemy came and destroyed his town, and all the nobleman was taken prisoner, including the governor. Manec then dissappeared, never to be seen by the town or its people.

---

Heavily unbalanced, but yeah. I had this idea a while ago, and thought I'd post it up here. Would be mostly Jungle, Teamfight support. Can initiate. Very squishy, but fairly fast.
Probably too OP.

I absolutely love the concept (I'm fairly sure the game engine would require the channeled ult to remain still) but I agree that I would need some serious balance changes for it to actually be compatible with the metagame and not be completely overpowered.

Yeah, a lot of tweaks would be needed. I'm thinking the ulti doesn't need to be channelled. Rather balance its effects (or the passive's effect anyway), then have it an active that allows him to move.

Thanks for the replies guys.

Well, I submitted it on the PlayDota forums, from which it might one day be added to Dota 1, from which it might be added to Dota 2...

Wouldn't hope to hard though haha

Changes : Removed the debuff of 3rd ability activating on enemies attacking him, its OP.
Changes : Changed 4th ability to active duration instead of channeling.

The ultimate and dance puppet are some serious spells you have there, but he looks like he needs levels. The ultimate will be too powerful late game, if used well will completely disorientate the enemy team. But I guess this hero is just for the lols, can be made serious with the nice concept and a spell replacement that valve might come up with. Quite interesting and nice

Well, Dance Puppet is pretty much a 3 second duration moving Force staff-ish type thing, so don't know if its really OP, but yeah, the idea is to make him very utility. Playing with him will create interesting plays methinks.

Maybe with less duration the Ulti will be less overpowered? I've though about it, and although powerful, especially all the creep attacks, its still fairly situational, if there are no creeps it will have a fairly smaller effect.
