Hey there,

I'm currently looking for a mentor who would like to teach me how to play AM proberly as a hard carry.I've played him quite a few times now and read through different guides.I've been inspired to play AM by that video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LLOlGkipXyU
but ofc I'd never do those troll builds. :-P

I'm having not always the best time in pub games because I'm often ending up in a double-meele combo against heavy harasser like sniper or lina, not getting any farm at all.I'd like to know what I can do in those situations and how I can farm different than in lane and when I can do that.I just want to know more about proper AM playing. :-)

So,I'm hoping for a few advices and tips from good AM players!I'd be very grateful.

I am sorry i cant mentor you at this point in time but something i find whenever i see an anti mage on the opposite team is i always go after them early to mid game to stop their farm and to kill them so we can end the game before he gets OP. so my advice would be play safe and try and figure out their lanes before the game starts so you can go in the safest possible (because in pubs the safe lane is not always the safest)

Generally speaking don't pick AM if you know your team cant handle it with you farming. A carry with a better mid-game potential is essential if your team needs you throughout the game. Also you should always have a support when playing a hard carry.

Thanks for all the responses!
Well,I can see what you mean. It's not easy getting some nice farm because I don't get often a nice random support laner with me.And that they want me to gank in some situations while I'm farming on the other side of the map, would be probably what you mean by that.

I know that AM needs quite a while until he becomes very effective. What carrys are quicker effective than him?

PL, Void, Sven, Lifestealer, CK, DK, Luna. Even Spectre if you use one of my guides.
Feel free to check out my guides for Spectre, Dragon Knight, Siren, Medusa, Sniper, Disruptor, or Void. They're pretty cool.
