Hi, I'm working on a new draft for the hopefully Community Hero Project, hosted by Dota Concept.

I want to improve and have a better chance of winning the next event, and I need as much feedback on how to design a better hero. Please, if you can mention anything of use, it would be of great importance to understand what went wrong last time.

I will be submitting multiple potential submissions between now and the event of different heroes. It's currently presented as a straight text-load, as I'm working on the overall synergy, purpose and balance of the concept rather than presenting it visually and with guidance.

I will answer all questions about the hero if asked.

I used the image tool, but the image was unreadable in its resolution (could not be zoomed in). What do you suggest to work around this?

Did you try to use the image tags instead?

This is a great hero. I especially like the Anchor/Overview combo. They do something no other spell does in two completely new ways. This is amazing.

However, (ironically) my biggest criticism is with the two actual spells, because for all intents and purposes they act as one spell. You will never want to anchor without overview and, unless defending a tower and you have **** tons of health, or waiting a melee attacker out until help arrives, you will never want to use Overview without Anchor.
Because of this, I would combine the two into one ability that does what both do; if targeted on an ally it gives the benefits of both and acts as only Overview when it is targeted on the Zeppelin.

Replacing the spell shouldn't be too hard; we are talking about a magic-powered blimp here. Something I came up with in 5 seconds was Ionic Bond, a spell that zaps a unit with a lightning bolt (cast range is increased from overview) dealing heavy damage and doubling their mana regeneration rate for 3/4/5/6 seconds. Or you might be able to add an ability that picks up an ally and rushes with them to a target location, as a sort of transport vehicle. Really, you could do anything from damage to debuffing to positioning with the new ability.

I also am not sure if I like the ultimate, but I can't really think of a good reason why off the top of my head. It doesn't really combo with the rest of the hero's spells which is something I generally dislike, but there are many other spells that do so as well (see Laguna Blade, and Arcane Conversion is much more interesting anyway) so it isn't really an issue.

It should be made clear whether melee units can attack while Overview is up. It says in fine print that attack range cannot be reduced below zero but it also doesn't clarify whether the Zeppelin is phased for the duration. There are also a couple typos I noticed, and "Fortifications" should probably be changed to "Structures" but otherwise formatting and presentation is great!

Also ironically, Anchor/Overview were originally two abilities learnt together (with Anchor being used only during Overview). I thought Anchor could work on its own as an Escape too. You can also use it for mobility purposes (think Lycan/SpiritBreaker/Wisp combos). An older ability called "Smoke Booster", which automoves the Zeppelin from slow to fast was removed for this.

Arcane Conversion needed to be more powerful, and I was going to increase the damage/and or mana regeneration, which is similar to the purpose of Ionic Bond.

The notes on Overview mention attack/cast range can be reduced below 0 and prevents an action being targeted. I should've made a message about phasing through it whilst risen, using a similar mechanic used by Lion/Nyx stun and Invoker/Kunkka lift ups.

If the problem was the resolution, try to reduce the resolution and maybe to upload it to imgur.com, it should work that way.

If you crop some of the black borders from the sides, it'd fit rather well :) Then it would also be readable without having to click links.

OK I've updated the picture. It's readable, but only just. Could I just have admin permissions to link to the picture for easier reading? Especially since I'm coming back with at least 2 more concepts.
