What about we just hold a voting on the site for which next hero guide everyone wants updated? From a small hero pool or something like that. Then Sofa can coordinate while we help with whatever needed, and as much as possible if we know the hero.

Well first we have to ask whether Sando is allowed to release his guides to me + chichi to revise and update.
Then we have to ask sando whether he is willing to change all his guide titles to something along the lines of "Dotafire's Vanilla Guide to..."
Then we have to think about whether that will discourage other people from making guides.

Then I will, over the summer, and with ChiChi and others, update every single one of his guides.

Meanwhile, Sando should either be helping us or writing new guides based on what the community wants.

Ok, you're right! Ask Hades on Discord, it shouldn't take too long. As for the guides, we can also do something more official and let Sando keep his own stuff that he deserves to have under his name. Idk, maybe even talk with Hades for the creation of a user that would be an "official Dota Fire creator" Anonymous for the viewers, but we knew it was a mix of the contributions of us all. And I think the vanilla name would be great indeed :)

The big advantage of this is we would finally have some an official "ok" guide for every hero, which gives Dota Fire more... Well it makes it a more respectable place for reliable guides ahah without compromising the possibility of every user still doing his own guide that would be more creative and personal. And the update issue would be easily solved as well: the same team that composed those guides would just update them from time to time, keeping it kinda like a "Tortedilini guide" (or whatever the guy's name is) in Dota fire.

What would you guys think of this?

I disagree, If you create "OK" guides for every hero, new comers and people who want to write guides for their favorite heroes will be discouraged and they will be like "hey there is a goo gaming level guide for this hero so why the **** should I write one?"
It's really good to have ok guides for each and every hero but your action may make dotafire end up like workshop, owned by a small group of people. It's good for the viewers and bad for writers...

Yea, that's kinda what I mentioned before. We'll have to ask Hades about it.

That's an important and interesting point of view, yea! Thing is, I was not thinking guides Goo level at all ahah more like completely short things, let's say a bit like the last Sando one for Sniper. Just the basics for each hero, and just because a constant complaint here is guides are outdated/can't be trusted. I'm thinking if it was me, I'd still do my own guide if I wanted, wouldn't be discouraged by that you see? As I wasn't before when I did mine for, let's say, CM, where there was already Bunkan's. But that might be really personal yea, and if people don't think it's a good idea better not to do it at all.

Pretty much finished with a support Kunkka and Tidehunter guides...maybe one day the CM one will actually get round to being finished.

What else would people like to see?

Can't wait for Support Kunkka. He's my favourite hero.
If it'd be possible, a DOOM! A semi-carry Doom that also supports, but doesn't require a lot of afk farming...
No Slithereen may fail.
