Bloodthorn is not useless on him i think, Your illusions critic from it, also you have 5 seconds of stun.

DO WANT a guide of Chaos Knight, dont manage to play that hero well, just have 3-4 games with him by the way.

also if Octarine Core and Manta Style, why not make a Naga Siren build on him, 65% uptime, manta synergy, and resolves problem of farm

It's overkill. CK already oneshots heroes with the standard stat build. He doesn't need any damage items.

The whole point of CK is that he builds survivability and damage with the same items (strength items). That's what makes him scale so well.

As long as enemies can't kill or chainstun your illusions with CK, you just win the teamfight. Building raw damage gives you nothing more.

Radiance is horrible on CK. Radiance Naga is a thing because Naga has a spammy illusion skill, but CK doesn't have that. Besides, even with radiance and manta, CK doesn't even have the mana pool to spam manta, so even with 2 items the farming speed is still in the dumpster.

Manta Style/ Octarine Core CK though, definitely. Probably should still go armlet/MoM first.

It's more a Terrorblade build than a Naga build. CK illusions right-click, they're not here to carry a radiance aura.

But yes you can play the Naga / TB game of splitpushing with illusions with CK, that was my point.

When the enemy team has mass AOE, I think that's actually the only way you can win. Because even if you buy BKB, your illusions still die instantly so you still lose teamfights. While if you Naga it out...you can make it.

Imo a strength of CK is that he can adapt his item build to deal with say, a 4-p-1 carry who the other carrie(s) on the team can't shut down. Because after Manta+Heart and if needed he can get items like Abyssal, Halberd, Silver Edge, even Bloodthorn to take that carry out and still do a ton of damage because he gets his damage from stats and levels. That's something you can't do as effectively on many other carries and it doesn't work against CK himself since he's illusion-based, making him potentially a solid anti-carry if needed.

That's pretty much it. CK naturally does a truckload of damage, not because he has good stats (they're bit above average) but because he has a 400% damage steroid and a native crit. The only 'damage items' you need to get on him are Manta Style, Heart of Tarrasque and probably a Butterfly or Eye of Skadi. Add in boots, and that leaves a full 2 item slots that I'd probably fill with a Sheepstick and an Octarine, or whatever else you need. His early-game items are fairly rigid, but lategame he's got a huge amount of choice and can adapt to whatever situation. That's what makes him so crazy good in the lategame.

Pray tell me how do you all intend to take him there on the late game, with 6 slots full?
Midas?
Battlefield?
Talon?

No.
He is a ganker and he needs to build for mid game.

On this context, this is a childish thread on taking ck to 6 slots and wrecking enemies.
It doesn't happen.
He acts as a pickoff hero because he is. He is ingle target damage, he is not rat; not even with manta.

For God's sake , the buffs you get to rift instead of chaos strike and you still don't get it.

Please, make drums on ck. Please.

Make one , kill people and push he tower. End game before 30 minutes and enjoy another in the next 30.

Unless you are terathiel, then you can go heart satanic skadi butterfly boots manta

CK is only a ganker when played with Io. On his own, he's actually a pretty terrible ganker. He's really good at getting early kills in lane, and he can fight early, but he's really not about going out of his way to gank other lanes.

I think people are way too stuck in builds and playstyles that only work for WISP + ck.
CK on his own is a completely different thing.

Also yeah, MoM + Talon + armlet farms super fast. You can kill ancients around the 8 min mark :)

Hey, don't force me into this. Armlet is still my third favourite item in the game after Manta Style and Rat Boots. MoM Armlet, there's no reason to play CK as anything other than a snowballer unless you're against cancer you shouldn't really have picked CK into anyway.

Ck is a ganker.
People not roaming with him, once he's 6 is a different issue.

He screams ganking. All his skill set is to kill people early. A PRC combo means lane killed an tower taken with your lane mates; with or without io.

IO gives him behind the lines mobility, and tank ability beyond gorilla. He becomes an Uber carry with 3 items, that's all.

Not a single mention of Echo Sabre is astounding.

Gives damage.
Gives farming speed(apart from 2x strike it also allows you to spam W on fat creeps.
Gives sustain.
Gives stats.
Gives kill potential(you can often miss a kill if you are unlucky with stun or your target is fat, Reality Rift has a long-*** awkward animation and you can be easily kited in fog).

Armlet of Mordiggian + Echo Sabre and you're ready to go, the build is just good at everything, you farm fast, you kill people fast, you don't have to go to base after every fight/gank. IMO there's no better build than that ATM.

Because of the way this hero works, half a heart is better than Echo Machete. Echo Cleaver gives you a bit of all, Reaver gives more tankability and damage to your illusions. IMO, if you are so mana hungry, a Void Stone that you can later build into Refresher should be more than enough compared to Echo Rapier.
