Yea Tb offlane has been working much better for me than safelane this past few months and I mainly only buy dominator to so I can jungle and do ancients because as long as my team doesn't feed to hard I can easily get at least 20-25 minutes of free farm and be so much ahead of the enemy carry it will just be sad

Maxing Reflection has been considered legit ever since its rework, just because the skill is that damn good for harass. And, especially in pubs, the offlane is often safer than the safelane because generally you don't get ******** like Venomancer Huskar in the safelane. With the new camp, it's even better than it was - previously, you'd level Conjure Image at level 3 or 4 and use it to stack camps for farming later, which wasn't possible in the offlane due to just having ancients. Since there's now a new camp, it can work much better, assuming you've got a decent support with you - I would NOT recommend solo offlane on TB, EVER.

The downside to maxing Reflection is that you can't max Conjure Image. TB can farm stacks when he's got his W and E maxed, which is level 9-10 depending on if you've skilled Sunder. And if you're maxing Q, you can't max W.

Items wise, it's always the same, Aquila > Yasha > BoTs > Manta > Skadi, or if you want to fight (advisable with an offlane max Reflection build) Aquila > Treads > Drums > Manta > Skadi. Fighting early *is* possible, you've just got to be very careful since you have a lot of damage but very low HP. The reason you shouldn't really go HotD is because you don't really need the sustain, creeps do like no damage to you, and TB doesn't *always* build into Satanic because often a second Eye of Skadi is better.

Dont max Q. Its as simple.

Level 1 in reflection gives a 2.5 seconds 25% slow and a 40% damage output. works pretty well against a PA, Spectre and other heroes that have some on hit effects. We are talking about early game and player damage from rightclick isnot that good so putting more than 2 points in it is not advi;sable AFAIK.

Just go 2-1-2 or 1-2-2 or 1-1-3.

Won't this just stop working against heroes who have decent amounts of magical harassment?

Since, I get the idea of it. You are remarkably tanky against physical damage with a Stout Shield due to crazy base armour, and Reflection makes going on you kinda hard. Metamorphisis means eventually you can bully the supports out of lane and means you can't really be left alone (Or even with just one hero), and as a TB you can fall back to the jungle in decent order (Probably sooner if you build Iron Talon).

But there are just going to be some heroes you simply can't lane against. Jakiro, Shadow Shaman, Bane, Lion, Zeus, Skywrath Mage are all heroes with a tonne of magical harass who either zone you out entirely or can set up super easy kills. Along with a fair number of safe lane cores, Queen of Pain, Phantom Lancer, Gyrocopter who have a lot of magical harass.

Feels really lane dependant.

Since you just can't have enough Chaos Breaker.

exactly this.
a stun and a nuke makes your laning really difficult. u are already at 500 hp with Str items and a 250 nuke means 50% health gone.
I dont think he is offlane material and the real option there is the new camp stacking and using iron talon to catch up.

Never go offlane without a support. But all i will sayis go nuts with reflection if you see an AM with mana break. He will cry so hard that it will make your game so enjoyable that you wont mind losing.

Yea the every time I see an AM I pick tb and go offlane and max reflection no matter what and it usually screws up his entire game but I don't always max reflection just most of the time because it's the trench and there are usually very heavy hitters with little magic damage going safelane for example my most common games vs safelane enemies are usually pa,am,night, sven,wk and a few other heavy hitters and I usually win lane so hard but I am usually very cautious in lane because they have stuns and I will almost always have a support to help me
